Glimpse of : antagonistic: upper
Weekend session. Antagonistic groups done.
Here’s something most people get wrong:
They keep changing workouts, chasing variety… but never chasing mastery.
I don’t do that.
I keep my exercises consistent. Why? Because progression doesn’t come from confusion — it comes from repetition done right.
Once I hit my top weights, I’m not in a hurry to go heavier.
I slow things down.
I focus on:
* Better control
* Stronger contractions
* Real mind-muscle connection
Because that’s where real growth happens.
Anyone can move weight.
Very few can own the weight.
Don’t let the barbell control your ego.
Control the barbell with intent.
Weight shouldn’t drive you.
You should drive the weight.

Glimpse of today’s session.
Posterior Chain > Ego Lifting
Leg day looked different today.
Instead of chasing numbers…
I started with my weak areas — posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings, lower back).
And the difference?
Better control.
Stronger contractions.
Already seeing improvement.
Most people do the opposite.
They start with their strongest lifts…
and leave weak muscles for the end — when fatigue kicks in.
That’s exactly why those muscles stay weak.
👉 If you actually want balanced development:
Train your weakest muscle when your energy, focus, and intent are at the highest.
Tip:
Prioritize your lagging muscle groups at the start of your session.
That’s where real progress happens.
Train with intent. Not just intensity.

Happy Diwali everyone
Do’s and don’ts for athletes :
1. Stay away from conventional style of dieting of cutting water and salt.
2. Don’t change your workouts at least 90 days before the prep.
3. Focus on volume ? …. Na just keep moderate lifts and focus on conditioning.
4. No carbs ? … lol nahi keep a fair amount of carbs in your diet. Miracles will not happen in a week or two before the perp. It’s your hard work from off -season that ll get you condition ready.
5. Sleep well 8 hours mandatory. I am still struggling 😃.
6. No hypothetical supplements after you talk to bruhs in the gym. Keep it simple and clean.
7. Extra cardio : it depends but too much is bad.
8. Surround yourself to like minded people who can support you, your family / friends / mentor/coach.
Good luck

To know what is to be done and not do it at the right time is the lack of courage
Congratulations many more milestones to be unturned.

“I still remember when my wife walked up to me and suggested that we enrol under a fitness coach, I was a little apprehensive—How will we measure everything? What about our weekend parties?
She finally convinced me and we enrolled for a 6 month program under Navdeep and then renewed it. Many people around us thought we’re crazy.
Our friends and colleagues who were once very critical of our decision have enrolled with Fittr inspired by us. One really important change is the transformation that we saw in our cook of the past 14 years—Dabloo Bhaiya. He is following the program to a T with us. He even makes sure that our entire family eats healthy. He understands quantified nutrition and the importance of that extra spoon of ghee in a meal.
Enrolling with a coach is really helpful as it keeps you on track and all your queries are addressed too. Also, enrolling along with my better half has helped me keep the peer pressure on, and that made me stay consistent. People who once thought we are boring and that it’s difficult to party with us, have now become our gym buddies who quantify their food. All thanks to our coach Navdeep who would never say no to a change without logic and rationale, and is extremely patient and knowledgeable!
It’s only after you start seeing results is when you start believing in something.”
