If you think Pranayama is just inhale and exhale. Then we are sorry, you have only touched the surface.
Let us ask you an important question. Do you know which Pranayama should come first and which one must come last?Or are you just following sequences blindly?
Do you know that Sheetali Pranayama which everyone calls cooling — can actually increase internal heat when done in a certain way?
Do you know that in Bhramari Pranayama,
your tongue placement silently decides
whether your mind will scatter… or dissolve inward?
This is the difference between doing Pranayama and understanding Prana.
These are not techniques. These are energetic decisions.
And without right guidance, the same breath that can elevate you can also keep you stuck.
PRANA ARAMBHA (designed by Prashant)
This is not just a course This is a return to the source where breath is not mechanical, but a doorway to transformation.
You will learn:
• How to sequence Pranayama based on energy
• What your body actually needs — not what trends suggest
• Subtle details that completely change the outcome of practice
If you are serious about evolution, you cannot afford random practice.
We invite you to step into the science,
the subtlety, and the real power of prana.
This is where your transformation begins.

One of the most common questions teachers ask after completing their 200 HRS.
And the honest answer is: it depends not as a way of avoiding the question, but because readiness is not measured in time alone.
The 200 HRS is the door. Not the room.
It offers a solid introduction to āsana, sequencing, and the basics of teaching. It is a beginning. What happens after that beginning is what actually prepares you for the next depth.
What needs time to develop: Real teaching experience, in front of real students. A personal sādhana that does not depend on a training schedule .The questions that only arise after standing in front of a room and feeling the gap between knowing and transmitting.
The general : at least one year of consistent teaching and sincere personal practice is a meaningful foundation before 300 HRS. Not because of rules. Because the body and the mind need time to integrate what was received.
The right time is not only measured in months.
It is when a teacher can honestly say: I have taught. I have practiced. I have felt the limits of what I know.
That is the readiness that matters.
If that readiness is present the 300 HRS TTC in Bali is open for applications.

There is a difference between taking a course and making the teacher part of your sādhana.
A course has a beginning and an end.
Sādhana does not.
In the classical understanding of Yoga, the relationship between student and teacher is not transactional.
It is a transmission — of method, of understanding, of attention.
This does not mean dependence.
It means orientation.
When you practice with a teacher over time —
not just in workshops, but as a steady presence in your sādhana —
something accumulates.
The teaching becomes less something you remember and more something you embody.
That is what we offer at Yoga Vidya School.
Not just training, not just courses.
But a deep and clear direction.

Today’s Yoga has become too obsessed with making people comfortable.
But the purpose of Yoga was never comfort. The purpose was awakening.
A true teacher is not someone who only helps you “feel good” for one hour. A true teacher is someone who slowly destroys the unconscious patterns that are creating suffering within you.
Sometimes this process feels peaceful. Sometimes it feels confronting. Sometimes it shakes the identity itself. Because real Yoga is not merely physical movement. It is a process of seeing clearly.
In the traditional path, the Guru was not respected because he entertained people emotionally.
He was respected because he was willing to show truth even when truth was uncomfortable.
Today many teachings are becoming more concerned with validation than transformation.
More concerned with popularity than depth.
More concerned with appearance than inner fire.
But Yoga was never meant to decorate the ego with spirituality. It was meant to transcend it. If teaching does not increase awareness, responsibility, discipline, honesty and inner observation then slowly Yoga becomes another form of unconscious escape.
And this is where teaching starts becoming cheating.

You finished your 200 HRS.
You have the certificate.
You know the poses. You can cue. You can sequence.
And then — the question arrives.
Now what?
For most teachers, the first year of teaching is also the first year of real learning.
The classroom reveals gaps the training didn’t.
Students ask questions the manual didn’t cover.
The body you trained is not the body of the person in front of you.
This is normal. This is the process.
200 HRS is not the destination. It is the beginning of something.
The question is: what comes next?
Some teachers expand their personal practice.
Some deepen into a specific area — prāṇāyāma, philosophy, therapeutics.
Some return for a 300 HRS to build the foundation that a 200 HRS cannot fully provide.
There is no single answer.
But the question is worth sitting with honestly.
What did your 200 HRS open in you? Drop it in the comments.
