ALWAYS KEEP THE MUZZLE POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION
There’s no room for error when it comes to gun safety! That’s why one of the most important rules is to always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. No matter what you are doing with your firearm, from loading or unloading to “dry firing” an unloaded gun, always be sure the muzzle isn’t pointing at anyone or anything that you don’t intend to shoot.

A safe direction means accounting for possible ricochets and knowing that bullets can pe*****te walls and ceilings. So even if it means pointing “up” or “down” instead of at someone or something, make sure you know exactly where your muzzle is pointing at all times. And remember – this is YOUR responsibility!
