Roy's Taekwondo Academy is the 1st Sports Academy in India which is in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math and World Taekwondo organised 1st World Taekwondo Official Event (2020 Indo Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival & International Award Ceremony) in India in presence of Hon'ble President of World Taekwondo, President of IOA, Vice President of Singapore National Olympic Council, His Holiness Revered Srimat Swami Divyananda Maharaj, His Excellency the Governor of West Bengal, His Excellency the Governor of Meghalaya, Hon’ble Minister of Horticulture & Food Processing Industries, Govt. of West Bengal and many other National and International dignitaries. RTA is the 1st Sports Academy in India, received World Body recognition and appreciation for development and promotion of Taekwondo in India. Roy’s Taekwondo Academy (RTA) is assigned to conduct the Dan/Poom Promotion Test under World Taekwondo Head Quarters, Seoul, Korea. RTA Officials met Hon'ble President of World Taekwondo. Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy & Senior Master Ruma Roy Chowdhuy were greeted on their arrival by the Hon’ble President of World Taekwondo (WT) Dr. Chung-won Choue.

Previously Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy was the Consultant (Sports) at Indian Statistical Institute, Govt.of India. He is a former member of Indian National Team. He achieved many glory in International arena. He received most prestigious honour in the field of Taekwondo - "World Taekwondo Plaque of Appreciation" from Hon'ble President of World Taekwondo. He received prestigious "The Hall of Honor" Award as a Pioneer from Living Legend Pioneer Grand Master Kong Young Il in presence of Pioneer Grand Master Daehyun Kim and other Great Grand Masters & dignitaries. Senior Master Ruma Roy Chowdhuy received "The Hall of Honor" Award as a present leader.

Presently as an International Taekwondo Personality Grand Master Roy is working as a Mentor of many educational institutions. He creates training module and opportunity for international exposure of School as well as students through Taekwondo.
