18 Years of Being a BEACON of Hope...
On 13th September 2026, Trilochan Netralaya celebrated its 18th Foundation Day — “BEACON” at Jamadarpali, Sambalpur.
The evening brought the entire TN family together to celebrate 18 years of milestones, impact and service. We felicitated our long-serving team members, honoured winners of various competitions, inaugurated our first monthly newsletter “TN JYOTI,” and celebrated with a vibrant cultural programme in the gracious presence of Padma Shri Jitendra Haripal, renowned singer Mr Pankaj Jal and Mrs Manasi Panigrahi.
For 18 years, TN has strived to be a beacon of hope—for a grandparent longing to see a grandchild’s face, a farmer whose livelihood was threatened by blindness, a child forced to leave school because of poor vision, and rural youth searching for opportunity and purpose.
•1.77 lakh people of Western Odisha received sight-restoring surgery free of cost.
• 200+ girls from remote villages were trained and empowered.
•70+ young ophthalmologists from India and abroad were trained and mentored.
As we celebrate how far we have come, we also look ahead. The next milestone awaits.
From 18 years of service to a future of greater impact—the BEACON continues to shine.
