Cyclobhp is an annual BMX & MTB racing event held in Upper Shillong, Meghalaya. This event also features the only Downhill Racing for BMX in India.
Started in 2012 to promote cycling as a competitive sport & lifestyle, this event features the annual MTB Downhill race and also the 1st & only BMX Downhill Race in India. “Cyclobhp” is derived from the word “Cycles” – an annual downhill racing event for BMX and MTB since 2012 with the mission of promoting cycling as a competitive sport and lifestyle. The 4th Cyclobhp Racing was a 2days action-pack downhill race with 40 competitors from Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalaya in the BMX and MTB open categories. Ismamul Howk tops the timing sheets in both the categories. Cheyann Wyeth Nongrum finishes 2nd in the MTB category by just few milliseconds while Meban Suiam finishes 2nd in the BMX category.
We extend our appreciation to xSports, Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Meghalaya, Directorate of Forest & Environment, EKH, Meghalaya, xBhp, Redbull India, ZoomCar, Psynyde Bikes, Freerider MTB Magazine, Cycling Shillong, ProCycling, Shillong, Delhi Mistan Bhandar, Megha Impressions, HillTribe Adventures, Helping Hands and Ground Rules and all the participants for contributing to the success of the 4th Cyclobhp Downhill Racing 2017.
We specially thank Mr. Kailash Varma our oldest participant who not only participated in the Downhill Race but also made it to the finishing line, inspiring many other riders.
Our special gratitude goes to the crew from xSports, xBhp and Helping Hands who ensured all the necessary track safety, race marshalling and smooth conduct of the event.

A reminder to all the participants that te reporting time for the event is 9 am at State Central Library, Sillong. Riders can also report directly at the Upper Shillong Race Track before 11am.
