Meghalaya Baby League

The Meghalaya Football Association and All India Football Federation will conduct an online workshop on the Golden Baby Leagues for interested individuals and organisations in Meghalaya.

The workshop will be conducted online via Zoom at the date and time specified.

Happy International Women's Day from the Meghalaya Baby League!

Here are photos from Saturday's action in the Greater Shillong finals of the Meghalaya Baby League! It was a super fun day but, of course, it isn't over yet, as the champions here will now go on to contest the statewide finals between all districts soon. Stay tuned for that!

After months of fun, making new friends and building on their football skills, the top teams from in and around Shillong will contest the finals of the Greater Shillong centres of the Meghalaya Baby League at the JN Stadium, Polo, on Saturday.

The action will begin at 11:00am and entry is open to all.

Shillong Eastern and Shillong Western teams faced off in the first set of semis, with the Mawngap and Smit sides facing off in the second set.

The champions of the Greater Shillong league will take part in the final round of the pan-Meghalaya league, which will also involve the new centres started in the other districts of the state, namely West Jaintia Hills, East Jaintia Hills, Ri-Bhoi, West Khasi Hills and West Garo Hills next month.

U-7 - Nongthymmai GC Scorpions (Shillong Western) vs Rangdajied Eagles (Mawngap)
U-9 - Onside Gibbons (Shillong Western) vs Little Kickers Ferrets (Mawngap)
U-11 - Langsning Greenergy Lions (Shillong Eastern) vs Upper Shillong Colts (Mawngap)
U-12 - Langsning Greenergy Lions (Shillong Eastern) vs Rangdajied Eagles (Mawngap)

We had a fun afternoon of Baby League on Saturday on the occasion of the India International Cherry Blossom Festival-2019. Thanks to all the children who took part and, of course, friends and family for being part of the fun!

Come join us for a fun day of Baby League and women's at the JN Stadium on Saturday as part of the ongoing India International Cherry Blossom Festival. The action starts from 12:30pm!

The Baby League matches will be between mixed Western and Eastern Conference teams from Shillong, while the women's match will be between Lady Keane College and Queens of the Field.
