Alhamdulillah, the Final of the South Kashmir Volleyball Tournament Edition 4th concluded successfully in which Spartan Kashmir lifted the trophy of the 4th Edition in a thrilling showdown, beating Al Maidah Cafe by 3-2. Perhaps, this is for the first time in the Volleyball history of J&K that 5 sets were played with such huge crowd and electrifying atmosphere. The Spartan Kashmir with their robust defense and counter attacks didn't let the pressure consume them proved their dominance. Zahid Ahmad won the man of the match title while Rasik Pilot won the Man of the Series award for their briallant performances.
SDPO Zainapora Shri Sunil Kumar, SHO Zainapora Imtiyaz Ali, DO Wachi Jehangir Ahmad and former MLC Showkat Hussain Ganie were the chief guests on the occasion who not only encouraged the players but also lauded their efforts for their splendid performances. Speaking on the occasion, SDPO Zainapora Shri Sunil Kumar said that the apart from studies, youth should pursue their career in sports as well. He lauded the organisers of the tournament for providing platform to the youth to showcase their talent and keep them away from drugs. He said that it the endeavour of Shopian Police also to make the society drug free and conducting such tournaments is one such step to achieve the same. Former MLC Showkat Hussain Ganie also congratulated and lauded the players for entertaining the crowd while keeping the spirit of the game alive.

South Kashmir Volleyball Tournament Edition 4th:
Match Summary of Semi Final No. 1- Al Maidah Cafe (Brown Munde) defeated Smasher Punch in a 5 set match by 3-2. Aqib Rafiq alias Chotu was given the match of the match award for his all round performance.
Match Summary of Semi No. 2- Spartan Kashmir thrashed Azgar Army Volleyball Club by 3-1. Dannu was declared as man of the match for showcasing his excellent skills.
So we have our two finalists Al Maidah Cafe and Spartan Kashmir who will battle it out tomorrow for the trophy of the 4th Edition.

South Kashmir Volleyball Tournament Edition 4th, Match 5 Summary: Azgar Army once again presented their unique skills and overpowered Elite Volleyball Club Srinagar in the 4th quarter final of the tournament by 3-0. With this win, they have qualified for the semi finals and will face Spartan Kashmir in the second semi final today at 3:30 PM. Mahi Rouf was declared as Man of the Match for his brilliant performance.

13th July is going to be very special as 4 power packed matches will be played including one quarter final, two Semi Finals and one match for third place. Here is the schedule for the day;
1. Match 1 at 11:00 AM: Elite Volleyball Club Srinagar 🆚 Azgar Army Volleyball Club (Quarter Final 4)
2. Match 2 at 2:00 PM: Al Maidah Cafe 🆚 Smasher Punch (First Semi Final 1)
3. Match 3 at 03:30 PM: Spartan Kashmir 🆚 Winner Team of Quarter Final 4 (Second Semi Final 2)
4. Match 4 at 5:00 PM: Loser Team of Semi Final 1 🆚 Semi Final 2 (Third Place).
The Grand Finale will be played on at 3 PM.
