Committee of Administrators formed to look after affairs of JKFA
A joint meeting of the members of ex JKFA and National & International Footballers Forum and prominent Sports Promoters of Football was held today second of August 2022 at Indoor Sports Complex Pologround, Srinagar under the Chairmanship of Mr Waseem Aslam (Sports Promotor).
The members in one voice stressed upon the development of football and to resume the football activities immediately.
To look after the football affairs of J&K a committee of administrators was formed which includes 4 members from former JKFA and 4 members from NIFF which will be headed by Prof. B.A. Shah. Two members from Jammu and Two Sports Promotors will be also be the part of committee.
It was decided in the meeting that all Court cases will be withdrawn for the betterment of the game once the COA,s takes charge of football affairs of JKFA. All the members will work jointly for the welfare of the budding footballers of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
It was further decided that to start with the COA,s of JKFA will bring the constitution of JKFA in line with the AIFF Constitution followed by the elections in the districts and then the main body elections of JKFA.
Committee of Administrators were authorized to go ahead with the ongoing football activities for the budding footballers so that the game of football shall not suffer.
The office of JKFA will be made functional at Pologround Srinagar instantly and for which the necessary measures will be taken from tomorrow onwards.
The members who attended the meeting thanked Mr. Wasim Aslam for taking an initiative to resolve the football related issues amicably.
