Ansar Ahmad, known birder in Kashmir said over phone to KD that he sighted and photographed the 'Hasora chromus butterfly' in Nishat area of Srinagar on Thursday.

The incident occurred in the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The wildlife photographer, named John Chaney, unexpectedly woke from a nap under a tree to find a sleeping cheetah cuddled against him. This surprising encounter highlights the unique and sometimes intimate moments that can occur in the wild.

I Repeat!!! In the name of trekking|Hiking our fragile environment is being compromised. There must be regulatory body to regulate the number of trekkers. These fragile lakes and mountains have been turned into dumping graveyards of Plastic and other wastes. Construction of roads|concrete is also adding to the kitty of environmental agonies. If we don't stop this insanity our future generations would be cursing us and so would be nature.
