At the Multipurpose Stadium in Shopian, during the South Kashmir Volleyball League, something beautiful happened. Children some barely tall enough to hold their posters rolled onto the rink wearing helmets and hope.
Their message? “Khel Chuno, Nasha Nahi.” Choose Sports. Not Drugs.
Hand-painted signs. Face-painted slogans. And ministers who didn’t just attend ,they kneeled down, handed roses, and listened. That’s not a photo-op. That’s nation-building.
This is the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan and Shopian just showed the whole country how it’s done.
