District Srinagar Pencak Silat Association in collaboration with Pencak Silat Association of J&K organised J&K UT Pencak Silat Cup 2022, at Indoor Stadium Pologround, Srinagar, from Sept 8th, 2022 to 10th Sept, 2022.

J&K UT Pencak Silat Cup 2022 was competed at the pre-teen, sub-junior, junior and senior age category for both boys and girls. Students from Doon International School, Srinagar, participated in the championship and brought laurels for the school by bagging thirteen medals.

The accomplishment and success is celebrated by the entire Doon School Srinagar community. We cannot express our gratitude to Mr. Umer Akbar, a member of the Doon School Srinagar Sports Faculty, enough for his tireless dedication and painstaking efforts to highlight the abilities of the students.

7th Pencak silat District Srinagar Championship 2022 Concluded.

Srinagar:- Pencak silat District Srinagar championship 2022-23 which was held at pologround indoor sports complex Srinagar from 28 to 29 may 2022 concluded successfully. The event is sponsored by jammu and kashmir sports Council which was organised by District srinagar Pencak silat Association under the aegis of pencak silat Association of j&k .

The event is part of the ongoing special sports initiative MY YOUTH MY PRIDE which has so for brought hundreds of thousands of players under its fold.

Around 360 athletes from different schools and clubs. Like Delhi public school, darul iqra public school, international Millenium school, SKISC, International tigers martial arts Club, Iron fist martial arts club, Rainbow international school, Doon international school, Team asif Club, Team shoaib Club, Team Iqbal Club, Kashmir harward School, SKISC and many more clubs are participating in all age groups which includes pre-teen boys and girls, sub junior boys and girls, junior boys and girls besides senior men and women players .

On the conclusion, M***i Hamid Yasin, Secretary General Indian Pencak Silat Federation was the chief guest and distributed medals among the champions and runners up,. manager Indoor Sports Hall Polo ground Srinagar Mohammad Iqbal was the guest of honour.

Among others were Ravees Ahmad, Coach, Central Police team, Irfan Aziz Botta, Treasurer Indian Pencak Silat Federation, Mudasir Masoody, Senior Players, Parvez Ahmed Organising Secretary, Nasir Digoo, President, Pencak Silat Association of J &K and other members of the Pencak Silat Association of J &K and other officals were witnes the closing ceremony
