🌍 Happy International Mountains Day 2025
Yesterday was more than a celebration — it was a reminder of why we climb, why we explore, and why the mountains shape who we are.

Honoured to receive the Certificate of Appreciation for summiting peaks and exploring 100+ alpine lakes across Kashmir. Grateful to the Department of and for recognising the passion, dedication, and love we carry for our mountains.

A big salute to all the inspiring speakers —
• , for his powerful insights on glaciers and their importance for our rivers and livelihood.
• The wildlife & bird photographer whose journey reminded us to slow down and observe the wild.
• And the brave soul who is visually impaired yet scaled the mighty Siachen Glacier — a true definition of courage.

Again grateful to and for empowering differently-abled adventurers with a stage to shine and proving that true exploration begins with courage, not physical ability.

To every mountain enthusiast who joined the event — your spirit keeps this community alive.
Let’s keep protecting, preserving, and celebrating the mountains that protect us. ⛰️💙

Yesterday’s trail wasn’t the easiest — we started with a hard incline, and the entire route was buried under thick bushes. Every step was a reminder that the mountains test us before they reward us.

But then came the views…
A perfect frame of Harmukh, standing like a guardian.
The soft meadows of Choti Marg stretching into the distance.
And the mighty Pir Panjal painted across the skyline.

Moments like these make every struggle worth it.

To everyone who joined — you did amazingly well.
Your determination and teamwork turned a tough day into an unforgettable memory.
Proud of the entire group. 🌄🔥

Yesterday’s trek was nothing short of magical 🌿
We started our journey from Charanbal Mido, made our way up through the peaceful trails of Upper Charanbal, and finally reached the hidden gem — Panskoot Waterfall 💧 The sound of falling water mixed with mountain breeze was pure therapy. Every step was a reminder of how alive the wild feels when you walk deep into it.

We walked through trails painted in autumn’s gold — laughter echoing in the woods, every step a story. But as we reached the Marchoi, the leaves had fallen, the colors had faded — reminding us that even the most beautiful seasons must rest. 🍂🏔️
