District Ganderbal Carrom Championship 2025–26 Begins!
The District Ganderbal Carrom Championship 2025–26 was officially declared open at the Indoor Sports Stadium Seh Pora.
Organized by the District Ganderbal Carrom Association under the aegis of the Jammu & Kashmir Carrom Association in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, the event witnessed participation of around 82 players 👏

The opening ceremony was attended by Rahil Shafi, Dawar Rashid, Mohsin Qadri, and Zuhaib War, along with other officials.

✨ While the response was comparatively lower than other districts, organizers have urged schools, colleges, and institutions to encourage more participation so that youth choose sports like Carrom and stay on the right path.

🏆 District Baramulla Carrom Championship 2025–26 Begins!
The District Baramulla Carrom Championship 2025–26 was officially inaugurated today at the Indoor Sports Stadium Khawaja Bagh.
Organized by the District Baramulla Carrom Association under the aegis of the Jammu & Kashmir Carrom Association, the championship witnessed an impressive participation of around 140 players from across the district 💫
Players from boys & girls, men & women categories are showcasing their skills and competitive spirit in the game of Carrom 🎯
Many members of the J&K Sports Council and District Baramulla Carrom Championship along with the Members of J&K Carrom Association.

✨ J&K Junior Carrom Team Heads to Nationals! 🏆

The Jammu & Kashmir Carrom Association has announced a 12-member team to represent the UT in the 50th Junior National Carrom Championship being held at LNIPE, Gwalior (M.P.) from 1st–4th November 2025.

For the first time ever, our players travelled in Executive Class (AC Class) from Srinagar to Gwalior via Katra — a proud moment for the Carrom fraternity of J&K! 🙌

Heartfelt thanks to the J&K Sports Council, especially Madam Nuzhat Gull (Secretary, J&K Sports Council) for her continuous support and encouragement towards the promotion of Carrom in the Union Territory. 💐
