*DISTRICT POONCH CARROM CHAMPIONSHIP FOR BOYS AND GIRLS 2023*

The J&K Carrom Association is going to organise My Youth My Pride District Poonch Carrom Championship for Boys & Girls 2023 for all age groups (Mini, Sub Junior, Junior, Youth & Senior categories) *21 August to 22-August-2023 * at Army Goodwill School Potha *Surankote(Poonch)* The Two days tournament is Sponsored by J&K Sports Council being Organised by J&K Carrom Association under the initiative *my youth my pride* According to a handout issued here, All the District Carrom Poonch players, Colleges, Institutions,Schools & Clubs have been Advised to register their names or Send their entries on Whatsapp *8494093441*.All the players are requested to send their entires before 20-August-2023.No on spot entries will be accepted. The draw will be on 21-August-2023 at 11:00am at the venue of competition. Selection of the players for participation in the upcoming UT level Championship will be made during the championship.

Bad news for all Carrom players

47th Junior national Carrom Championship boys & girls team cancelled due to dispute at Federation level and derecognition of Game at Minsistry of youth affairs and Sports Government of India . The step was taken by screening committee of J&K Sports Council after through examination of the situation and keeping in view the carrier of Player's. Also keeping in view the matter of All India Carrom Federation is still subjudice and awaiting judgement in Hon. High Court (New Delhi)
