From picking up a new sport just two years ago to earning the opportunity to represent India at the international level, Mahika Rathod, a talented Under-14 Pickleball player from Surat, is already making her mark. 💪🏓

Mahika began her Pickleball journey two years ago, after previously playing Lawn Tennis. Her dedication and passion for the sport have helped her achieve remarkable success in a short span of time.

🇮🇳 The biggest milestone in her journey is here. Mahika has been selected to represent India in the Under-14 squad at the Pickleball World Cup 2026 in Vietnam, scheduled to take place at the end of August 2026.

She credits the support and facilities provided by SDCA for helping her continue her training and development in Pickleball.

From starting her swimming journey at the age of 4 to representing India on the international stage — Kalyani Saxena’s journey is a story of discipline, dedication and determination. 💪🏊‍♀️

In Episode 5 of Inside SDCA, we meet Kalyani Saxena, an international-level swimmer from Surat who has proudly represented India at multiple international championships and continues to inspire the next generation of swimmers.

🌧️💚 THE DANGS MONSOON ESCAPE | Trek • Explore • Discover 🥾🏞️

What an incredible day of adventure, nature and togetherness! 🌿✨

On 22nd August 2026, more than 160 SDCA members across different age groups came together for an unforgettable monsoon getaway to The Dangs, organised by SDCA in collaboration with Wilderness India.

From the early morning departure to the scenic journey, the trek was filled with excitement, laughter, breathtaking landscapes and the joy of exploring nature together. 🚌🌳🥾

💦 The highlight of the adventure was the trek to Anjani Kund Waterfall — a breathtaking natural wonder surrounded by lush greenery that truly felt like heaven on earth! 😍🌧️

It was a day where members stepped away from their routines, embraced the monsoon, challenged themselves on the trail and created memories that will last long beyond the journey.

The event was organised under the guidance of Shri Kanaiyabhai L. Contractor (President, SDCA), Shri Hitesh D. Patel (Secretary, SDCA) and Shri Pariksh*t K. Contractor (Convenor – Gym & Swimming Pool, SDCA).

A heartfelt thank you to all 160+ enthusiastic trekkers who made this adventure so vibrant and memorable! 💙
