From unbearable plantar fasciitis pain & loss of fitness to running a HM just within a few weeks under 4 min/km of pace. Much bigger achievement is enjoying, laughing, running carefree and dancing while doing it.
One step at a time and building towards 100km ✌️

Your coach Sandeep Kumar is proud of you 🤝🔱

‼️PB Alert + Podium at Hyderabad Marathon

Coach Sandeep Kumar : A strong race is not always the one where everything goes according to plan.

Going into Hyderabad, her training indicated that sub-3:40 was well within her potential. But race day brought a very different challenge.

Running during her periods, dealing with cramping and weakness, she had every reason to back off. Instead, she stayed composed, kept fighting and found a way to finish strongly enough to walk away with a new personal best and an age-category podium.

As a team, we know this result doesn’t represent the full extent of her potential — and that’s actually what makes the journey exciting.

We don’t need to chase everything in one race.

Step by step. Race by race.

From ultras and mountain races to improving her road speed, we are gradually building a stronger and more complete endurance athlete.
But there is much more to come.

Proud of the fight, especially when the day wasn’t giving her the conditions we had prepared for.

Congratulations, Alina. Onwards.

Dreams are like a tiny spark in the ashes. You keep it alive somehow.

Every trail runner eventually meets a climb that takes away their rhythm, speed and ego.

This steep section just before P1 at the Sinhgad Epic Trail is one of those places.

The biggest mistake runners make here is trying to run the entire climb. That only spikes the heart rate, burns the legs and leaves very little for the rest of the race.

Watch Nisha closely.

She isn’t trying to “win” the climb.

She switches naturally between running and power hiking, keeps a slight forward lean from the ankles, drives with her arms, takes short efficient steps and maintains a sustainable effort instead of chasing pace.

This is exactly how we have trained for steep trails.

On technical climbs, the goal is not to run every step.

The goal is to reach the top with enough strength to keep racing.

The mountains don’t reward the strongest runner.

They reward the smartest one.

The countdown. The cheers. The adrenaline.
Before the climbs, before the pain, before the finish line… there’s this moment. Coach Sandeep Kumar have been telling stories around it.

Welcome to the start line of Sinhagad Epic Trail.

Happy Birthday, Vishal!

Some people join as trainees, some become teammates and a very few become part of you. You belong to that rare category.

You are one of the oldest members of this journey with me. Over the years, you have become much more than a trainee. You have been a friend, a race partner, a brother and someone I have always been able to count on. Through every phase, every event, every challenge, you have stood there without asking for anything in return.

What I admire most about you is not your results, although they are impressive. It is your character.

You are not chasing glamour. You are not trying to be a social media celebrity. You are simply real. Your smile is real. Your humility is real. Your passion is real.

I have rarely seen someone as consistent as you. You never get intimidated by competition. You never make excuses. You never say, “I am not ready” or “The field is too strong.” You simply show up, put your heart on the line and race because you genuinely love running. That relentless passion has taken you to countless podiums but more importantly, it has earned you the respect and love of everyone around you.

People have come and gone over the years but you have remained. Loyal. Honest. Grounded. Dependable.

For me, you are not just a successful athlete. You are one of the truest representations of what Rungineers stands for—passion, brotherhood, commitment and authenticity.

Thank you for every race, every conversation, every helping hand and every moment of trust.

Long live, Vishal. You will always have my unconditional support, respect and affection.

You are a true Rungineer.
