Nahush Patil came all the way from Dhule with knee pain, IT band issues, sciatica discomfort, endurance limitations and performance struggles.

Through an advanced level bike fit and biomechanical correction, every contact point, pedalling mechanic, riding posture and on bike technique was analysed and refined in detail.

A proper bike fit is not just about comfort. It is about injury prevention, efficiency, endurance, power transfer and helping the rider perform with confidence.

This was one of the most complex and unique posture corrections I’ve worked on.
Mr Pradeep came in with a post traumatic elbow condition & a reversed upside down drop bar !! His right arm is fixed at around 90 degrees with very limited range of motion. It cannot fully straighten or bend further. Every standard bike fit rule had to be rethought.
This wasn’t about achieving a “perfect posture”
This was about respecting anatomy, joint limitations, and real world function.
We reworked the entire cockpit
Adjusted reach and control through a stem change
Corrected the handlebar position
And most importantly, set up the shifters asymmetrically to match his natural arm angle on the right side while keeping the left side conventional
The goal was simple
Reduce strain on the elbow and wrist
Improve stability and control
And give him confidence on the bike
The result
A position that works with his body, not against it
We also worked on helping him understand shifting, positioning, and how to train with his condition
And now he’s preparing for a 50 km cyclothon
