Applications invited for professional archery training

Physically Challenged All Sports Association Kerala and Future Olympians Professional Archery Training Academy have jointly invited applications for professional archery training at the Archery Academies located at Mannanam, Kottayam, Chottanikkara, Ernakulam and Ollur, Thrissur. Training will be held on Saturdays and Sundays in Indian Round, Recurve and Compound for the differently-abled and non-disabled. The training will be led by archery coach Kishore AM, who has won national and international medals in several sports and has trained state national medalists in archery. The athletes will receive advanced level training to participate in the state national competitions to be held this year. The association will provide training and necessary equipment for training free of cost to the differently-abled. Applications must reach the association's email before 5 pm on Tuesday, January 20. Anyone who wants to learn archery without any age limit can apply. Under the leadership of the Physically Challenged All Sports Association Kerala, the products manufactured in the snacks unit operating under the association are being provided free of cost to disabled people and housewives in various districts to enable them to take up self-employment under the complete job scheme devised by the association to provide self-employment to disabled people and housewives across Kerala. After interview training, the best 45 candidates in the district will get this opportunity. Those selected will get a daily salary of Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000. There is no age limit to apply from 18 years of age. Applications should reach the association's email before 5 pm on Saturday, October 25.
