Many congratulations to Ms Yeshaya Contractor and Mst. A***n Singh for being awarded the prestigious Jaydeepsinhji Baria Junior Award for Shotgun Shooting from Sports Authority of Gujarat.

They are the first recepients of this award in Dahod and Vadodara districts respectively.

We extend our sincere thanks to the office of the Commissioner of Police, Vadodara and the District Magistrates of Dahod and Vadodara for their support along with the Gujarat State Rifle Association, National Rifle Association of India, Sports Authority of India and many private individuals who have helped and supported their journey.

Many congratulations to Shri Aashish Shaktawat for winning the Bronze Medal in NR Men S***t event at the Raja Randhir Singh Memorial Shooting Competition, held at Patiala from 22nd to 31st July, 2026

The Savli Taluka Rifle Association proudly congratulates Mayuri Kiritsinh Rathore, representing STRA, on her outstanding achievement of winning the Silver Medal at the 62nd Gujarat State Shooting Championship.

This well-earned success reflects Mayuri's dedication, discipline, perseverance, and countless hours of focused training. Her performance is a matter of immense pride for the entire STRA family and stands as an inspiration to every young shooter striving for excellence.

This achievement has been made possible through the unwavering support of her coaches, teammates, family, and everyone who has encouraged her along the way. Success in shooting is never an individual effort alone—it is built upon the strength of an entire support system.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Gujarat State Rifle Association for conducting an excellent championship and for its continued commitment to nurturing shooting sports and providing athletes with opportunities to excel.

Delighted and honoured that the National Rifle Association of India appointed Shri Mehulbhai R Patel as the assistant instructor for its recently concluded National Referees Course.

Under the guidance and mentorship of Shri Amar Jang Singh sir, who is known far and wide for his vast sea of knowledge in this sport, Mehulbhai has achieved such heights of success in his passion.

We thank the President, Shri Kalikesh Narain Singh Deo and the Hon. Secretary General, Shri Pawan Kumar Singh for their vision in promoting the sport even further to reach a maximum number of people under the 75 years anniversary celebrations. Shri Rajiv Bhatia sir upon whose shoulders rest the unimaginable weight of administering this great organisation can't be thanked enough for all his selfless service. The entire team at NRAI is doing a great job at promoting this sport.

We also take this opportunity to thank all the elders at Gujarat State Rifle Association for their constant support to all our efforts and dreams.

Many congratulations to Ms. Yeshaya Hafiz Contractor for winning the Silver Medal in Double Trap Women at the All India University Shotgun (M&W) Championship, held at Patiala.

Her continued winning streak stands testament to her dedication and love for this great sport, coupled with her family's unwavering support at all times.

Yeshaya is a student of the MIT World Peace University, Pune and trains with her coach, Shri Siddhartha Pawar. Hard work pays off....always.

Happy and proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Khel Mahakumbh 2025 organised by the Sports Authority of Gujarat and conducted by this institute from the 12th to the 15th of February, 2026.

Stellar performances were witnessed where Vandanaba Chudasama won the Gold Medal in TRAP SHOOTING women open category with an impressive score of 42/50. In the men open category, the Gold Medal was won by Sarfaraz Desai with a score of 41/50, while the silver and bronze medals were won by Maulik Gohil and Ketan Bhimjibhai Patel respectively. While both were tied on a score of 37/50, Maulik clinched the silver medal based on ISSF's countback rule.
