تأسس مركز الاسرة للتدريب والتطوير في عام 2007م ، وحصل على شهادة الترخيص من قبل دائرة المنظمات الغير حكومية التابعه الى الامانه العامة لمجلس الوزراء. باسم مركز سنابل العراق لكفالة ورعاية الأيتام والأرامل ،وتغير اسمه الى مركز الاسره للتدريب والتطوير لان التدريب هو المدخل الرئيسي والهام للتأهيل والتطويرالإداري والاقتصادي والأجتماعي للاسرة وهو وسيلةرئيسية للارتقاء بالمهارات الشخصيةوتطويرها وإطلاعها على مستجدات العالم المعاصر، وهو مركز مستقل يسعى لوضع بصمة في حقل تنمية وتطوير الموارد البشرية للشباب والشابات (الايتام والارامل بشكل خاص )، ولكافة الجهات، والشركات، والهيئات والأفراد وفق خطط تدريب محددة ،اضافة الى قسم الاغاثة ورعاية اسر الشهداء.
