Facing the majestic glacier on the way to the beach. This will be your view for the entirety of the first half of our short beach tour and our buðir tour. In the right weather, the Snæfellsjökull will guide you through an amazing experience on horseback.

Two cuties ready for a ride. Dropi and Blesi are both young and strong horses, perfect even for bigger or taller people. Thanks to their lovely personalities and caring characters, they are also very good for beginners or just some cuddles at the fence. Book a tour with us, if you want to meet those guys🥰
Our young(er) horses in training – learning not only the basics, but also developing their unique character and their special gaits ✨
Each one is different, and it’s so much fun getting to know their personality along the way.
Tell us… have you already met some of them during our rides? 💛

Two cuties posing for an introduction:
The white Tibrà is one of our kind souls, making sure that also insecure riders feel safe on our horse back riding tours. The marked Fáfnir is one of the younger representatives in your herd. Having a nibble of snow, he is always up for some fooling around with other youngsters or a showdown with the older ones 🐴

Another beautiful sunset lured us on a ride at the beach. Enjoying the endless horizon, listening to the sound of waves and hooves on the sand, creates a quiet moment where time slows down☀️.

As the days are slowly but steady getting brighter, our horses enjoy some more weeks of leisure on the mountain field. Soon they start to get rid of their thick and fluffy winter coats, which kept them warm even through the strongest Icelandic winter storms.

This winter the aurora borealis has been very generous with us in Iceland. Powered by heightened solar activity, strong solar storms sent more charged particles toward Earth, making the aurora brighter, more frequent and visible farther south than usual. From your cottages you can have the perfect view ✨

Even though winter still holds on to Iceland, every one of the few sunny moments needs to be appreciated. And how to do that better, than by riding into the sunset, capturing the last magical sunbeams and the beautiful play of colours? 🌅
