backcountry, skiing, mountain/glacier hiking, ice/rock climbing, caving and sea kayaking. I do a lot of adventure tent/hut/boat based multi day tours but also day trips. Through my personal and professional experiences, I have developed a number of skills, including patience, understanding and strong communication skills. I consider myself open, a peoples person and easy to get along with. Apart from my native tongue, I am fluent in English and have the ability to understand and communicate in Norwegian to a moderate degree. I have a strong work ethic, leadership skills and can take on the utmost responsibility for a variety of duties. Growing up in Iceland you get to know the weather well, I am used to navigating and camping in fierce wind storms, whiteouts, sleet, horizontal rain and snow.
