I guess you could say I’ve caught the competition bug!!! These are just a few I’ve participated in the past few years with and at Iron October, with and at and I’m very much looking forward to more! Coming up next: .forgotten.games in Redding at the end of August with .phillips and , then Iron October at with . Let’s go!!!

Days 7 & 8: After a much needed rest day at an outdoor spa on day 7, we hit a double workout day 8 in a fishing town known as Dalvik where we also enjoyed an authentic Icelandic meal and swam in “refreshing” water no warmer than 50 degrees 😅🥶. The trip is nearing the end, unfortunately, but we’re soaking in every moment!

Day 6: The Crucible. This is a test of both the physical and mental sides of not just fitness, but any challenge in life. Today, we ran through the Icelandic Highlands through rain, fog, desert, hot spring, and snow (yes, this is real) for appx 20km. The views were worth the strain!

Day 3: Westman Islands was the new site for our trip. The day started with a fun workout at owned by (who was away getting prepared for the ), followed by a quick trip to an amazing waterfall on the outskirts of town, then a quick ferry ride to the Vestmannaeyjar, or Westman Islands where we encountered the peculiar birds that look like flying penguins-the puffin! Day 2: AnywhereFit Iceland. Today marked the official first day of the experience! We climbed the steep slopes of a volcano where rivers of lava were still steaming hot, did a workout involving numerous heavy downed electrical poles, and had an amazing dinner at an Icelandic ski lodge! I can’t wait for what else Iceland brings.

Day 1 in the books in Reykjavik, Iceland. Did some sight seeing, gathered the vibe of the culture and how people interact around here, and got a taste of the typical weather and good eats! They also have an obscure museum dedicated to the male reproductive organ 😂 more to come for the trip!
