Been busy painting lately, both to fulfil orders and also freestyling. These are all work in progress.

His speciality is painting the Icelandic horse, with rider or without, in the Icelandic nature, its natural habitat. Torfi Harðarson is an Icelandic artist.
His scenic landscape and equestrian pictures are colourful, big and magical, and he has never been afraid to allow the colours to express feelings and conjure up contrast.

Went with a friend to pickup some horses near to Gullfoss and Geysir, last Sunday. The weather amazes/puzzles me, 6°C, calm and almost like spring is in the air, which is not common in the start of February.

Töltgrúppan is an Icelandic group of ladies that ride tölt in formation. They are usually about 60 in the ring at shows. There will be an open practice now on Thursday at 19.00 at Samskipahöllin, Spretti, to get the horses used to crowds and noises. You are welcome to watch this unique event.

My Calendar for 2017 is ready, as before it contains four prints of my paintings. The prints are perfect for cutting out and framing after the year is out. It is printed on high quality semi gloss paper.

It has been an interesting summer, the weather has been great and now autumn is upon us. Landsmót, horsetrips, sheep roundups and next up is Laufskalarettir, which is going to be interesting.

Have started to produce and sell, after a long period of setting up camp in Hveragerði. Here is one of the first painted in the new studio. It did not stop long, it is sold :)

Happy new year everybody, hope you had a lovely year. The year 2015 was spent moving and making a new and improved studio. Now that I have finally moved in to my new place in Hveragerði, I can start painting again and showing you what I am up to.

The painting I gave in the Kvennatölt, or the yearly Womens Tölt competition in Hestamannafélagið Sprettur The winner of the Advanced riders (and got my painting) was Bylgja Gauksdóttir og Dagfari frá Eylandi 7,78 and we congratulate them with the victory.
