Karól and Simon have been exploring ropes together as switches—both tying and being tied—for some time, weaving their shared passion into a deep, dynamic practice. Karól, who began her Sh***ri journey in 2014, brings a grounded presence shaped by her experience in rope and Ta***ic practices, emphasizing communication, boundaries, and embodied awareness. Simon, who first met Karól at a workshop years ago, approaches rope as a space between intention and attention—a ritual of connection and self-discovery. Together, they explore Sh***ri as an evolving dialogue, rooted in consent, curiosity, and the full spectrum of human experience.

Simon's first experience in Sh***ri was 4 years ago at a workshop led by Katarina and Karol at Wild Love Festival and since then he has loved it as a beautiful tool for growing as a person. “I am a rigger and I enjoy discovering layers of tying someone while being at the same time at the service and hold space while also another time using sh***ri to experience the blessing of submission and surrender as a bottom. I like thinking that the tying happens between INTENTION and ATTENTION and Sh***ri is the whole process where we use boundage to connect through the ropes and explore the dynamics while tying.” He practices regularly by self-tying and with play partners, give sh***ri sessions and private lessons (if you are interested, contact him for details). Since early 2025, Simon has been organizing Rope Jams every now and then to enjoy passion with like-minded people and to develop community. “It is a journey where the concept of the Wheel of Consent is the foundation and kink is the driving force to meet the whole spectrum from light to dark within ourselves, and this aspect I think resonates with the ta***ic approach.”
