• Grounding •
To be grounded is to feel solid, strong, and well-balanced, in body and in mind.
Grounding is the practice of connecting your body to the earth's natural energy by walking barefoot on the ground. It's a way to recharge your body and mind with the earth's natural energy and bring yourself back to a more balanced state.

Happy International Yoga Day!
Today, I'm so grateful for the practice of yoga and the way it has transformed my life.
King pigeon pose, or Raja Kapotasana, is one of my favorite postures because it opens up the heart and helps me connect with my inner strength and resilience.
As a yogi, I'm constantly learning and growing, and I'm so thankful for the community of practitioners who inspire and support me along the way.
Namaste 🙏🏼

What do you do when feeling down?
Go to the top of a hill or a mountain in Iceland and do yoga.

To me, yoga is called ‘My Time’.
It’s the time of the day when I can leave everything behind and being oneself.
I would pamper myself with full of care and love.
What does YOGA mean in your opinion?
I would love to hear 💗🙏🏼

Me trying to master the Dancer pose is a long story.
It seems easier in Bali than in Iceland 😜
Practising Yoga outdoors was a bit warmer in Bali than in Iceland 😆

How much benefit do we get from practicing Warrior II (Virabhadrasana) pose?
Not only building strength in the core and legs, we usually forgot the small but important benefit of the eyes gazing.
In Warrior II pose, the eyes gaze out over the front fingertips (Virabhadrasana drishti). The eye gaze is important for a few different reasons:
It helps to improve focus and concentration, and brings the awareness to the present moment.
By keeping the gaze steady and fixed, it also helps to improve balance and stability in the pose.
The eye gaze can also help to create a sense of inner strength and determination, as though you're gazing out towards your goals.
In terms of the physical benefits, it can help to improve posture by lengthening the spine and preventing the head from drooping forward. It can also help to reduce tension in the neck and shoulders.
From a mental/spiritual perspective, the eye gaze can help to cultivate a sense of inner calm and focus, as well as a feeling of connection with the outer world. It can also help to activate the third eye chakra (Ajna), which is associated with intuition, wisdom, and perception.
What about the spiritual benefits of the pose? Would you acknowledge me?
