A year ago, Samuele Privitera received the Fair Play award. It was a gesture that told of much more than a simple action: it spoke of his goodness of spirit, his fair play, the golden person he was.

Today, twelve months later, we find ourselves mourning his passing, right during our race. Fate is sometimes cruel in ways that cannot be explained.
