Nel 2027 il Giro delle Dolomiti compirà 50 anni!
Stiamo lavorando intensamente per rendere questa edizione del giubileo indimenticabile per tutti. Tenetevi liberi la settimana dal 19 al 23 luglio 2027 e siate dei nostri per festeggiare questa edizione speciale. Per l’occasione, quest’anno nella scelta delle tappe si è tornati al formato originale: lungo e duro. In programma ci sono tappe con oltre 100 km e 3.000 metri di dislivello, e i ciclisti saranno messi alla prova sulle ripide rampe dei tratti cronometrati. Per la prossima edizione sono stati selezionati alcuni dei percorsi epici dei “50 anni di storia del Giro”: il Passo Fedaia con la famigerata rampa di Malga Ciapela, la traversata delle Dolomiti da Cortina attraverso i passi Giau, Pordoi e Costalunga, il Passo delle Erbe e naturalmente il classico Stelvio. Quest’anno, per la prima volta, una delle 5 tappe sarà proposta per due gruppi di merito.

In 2027, the Giro delle Dolomiti turns 50!
We are currently working hard to make this anniversary edition unforgettable for all participants. Mark the date in red on your calendar now! Keep the week of July 19 to 23, 2027 free and join us as we celebrate this special edition. For this occasion, the choice of stages has returned to the original format: long and hard. The program features stages covering over 100 km and 3,000 meters of elevation gain, with riders put to the test on the steep ramps of the timed sections. To mark the milestone, a few epic routes from “50 years of Giro history” have been selected for this edition: Passo Fedaia with the infamous Malga Ciapela ramp, the Dolomites traverse from Cortina over the passo Giau, Pordoi, and Costalunga, the Passo delle Erbe, and naturally, the classic Stelvio. This year, for the first time, one of the 5 stages will be offered for two performance groups.

Bolzano → Terlano → Frassineto → Meltina → Schermoos → Valas → San Genesio → Bolzano
51.3 km and 1,336 m of climbing — a fitting way to close the Giro!
Eased into it with a gentle warm-up to Terlano, where the timed section began — several hairpin bends and steady inclines took us 789 m up onto the Salten plateau, before a flat sprint finish. Refueled at the festival grounds in Frassineto/Verschneid, then rolled on as a group toward Meltina.
The Schermoos Sattel brought the day’s final test — two short ramps to 1,439 m, the highest point of the stage! From there, it was all payoff: riding in the shade of larch trees, past Haflinger horses grazing in green meadows, all the way to San Genesio.
Then a wide, easy road back to Bolzano, escorted by local police straight to Fiera Bolzano — where the 49th Giro delle Dolomiti closed with lunch and an awards ceremony.
Five stages, countless passes, one incredible week in the Dolomites. Thanks to everyone who rode along with us this week! 🧡🙌
