49er Sailing

Pia Dahl Andersen and Nora Edland have been sailing together since they were teenagers. They came into the 2025 Worlds leading the fleet — until illness forced Nora to hospital and the gold slipped away.

They came back to Quiberon in 2026 as the only Norwegian FX team at the Worlds, won the final race, and clinched gold by a single point. On Norway's national day.
