A splendid weekend in Imola 🇮🇹

There’s no place quite like Imola to race historic cars. The legacy the circuit breathes, its winding corners... Everything screams pure, unfiltered racing.

And the Ombra Historic Racing weekend was a fitting tribute to that spirit.

First of all, Rolf Sigrist clinched the Classic Endurance Proto 1 (-2 Liter) title despite being unable to attend the event. A testament to his incredible dominance during the first half of the season, and wonderful news as he continues his recovery. As a team, we are truly proud of this achievement and of what it means to all of us.

Roberto Turriziani put on a show, driving a fantastic race in the Osella to finish in the overall Top 10 in CER2. Tough luck for Maurizio Bianco’s BMW, which was forced into the pits despite running comfortably inside the HTC2 Top 10 throughout the race.

It’s Imola Classic time! ⏳

Amid the beautiful hills of Italy, Ombra Historic Racing will be back on track with the 1978 Osella PA5 and the 1988 BMW M3.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to once again wish Rolf all the best in his recovery. The paddock won’t be the same until you’re back with us 🙏

We will be racing the 1971 Chevron B19, the 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ Coda Tronca, and the very special 1975 Shadow DN5 F1. The latter has a truly unique story, which we will tell you all about soon!
