Susanna Alisi, our designer, took inspiration from one of the most famous Mercury in art: the Giambologna, preserved at the Bargello Museum!

Here is the long-awaited medal of the Firenze Marathon 2023! 🏅✨
A circle encapsulating symbols of the most significant landmarks along the Marathon route, with the mighty Mercury at its core – the guardian deity of athletes in mythology. The god of speed, depicted in talaria, winged sandals.
Our designer, Susanna Alisi, drew inspiration from one of the most renowned Mercuries in art: that of Giambologna, housed at the Bargello Museum!
