gione del successo di questo piccolo pezzo di storia, aperto nel lontano 1962, ma che oggi più che mai costituisce uno dei fulcri della vita notturna fiorentina, conosciuto da tutti, anche oltreoceano. La steakhouse è aperta dal pomeriggio fino a tarda notte. La specialità è la carne (bistecca alla fiorentina, tagliate, hamburger), ma il menù è vario: da piatti toscani alla cucina messico-americana (tacos, quesadillas, nachos), con panini sfiziosi, una buona carta dei vini ed ottimi prezzi. Non solo: maxischermi proiettano tutti i maggiori eventi sportivi internazionali, dalla serie A italiana ai campionati americani di basket e football in lingua originale. Il maggior merito di questo locale è di essersi tenuto al passo coi tempi, mantenendosi sempre sulla cresta dell'onda. Il successo di clienti e popolarità testimoniano tutto questo. First opened no less than 50 years ago in distant 1962, in the heart of the historic centre of Florence and next-door to the beautiful Santa Croce Square, the Red Garter is without doubt one of the most famous bars in Florence and a landmark for the Florentine nightlife. Open every evening, it offers live music shows, tribute concerts for important artists, karaoke evenings and a dj-set that is always exciting and different. The steakhouse is open from the afternoon until late at night. Meat is the speciality - Florentine steak, the ‘tagliata’(thinly sliced, raw meat), hamburgers - but the menu is very varied: from Tuscan dishes to Tex-Mex specialities (tacos, quesadillas, nachos), tasty sandwiches, an excellent wine list and great prices. Not only: maxi screens show all the major international sporting events, from the Italian Premier League to the American basketball and football championships in original language. The bar’s greatest strength is to have kept up with the times so as to still find itself today, after many years, one of the keystones of entertainment of the Florentine nightlife, offering every week something that is always original and never repetitive. The success it has had with its customers and its everlasting popularity is a testimony to this. Free entrance and Happy Hour until 9:30 p.m.
