🇮🇹 Piné Gravel Tour: Da Pergine ai Laghi dell'Altopiano 🚴♂️ 🇬🇧 Piné Gravel Tour: From Pergine to the Plateau Lakes 🚴♂️ 🇩🇪 Piné Gravel Tour: Von Pergine zu den Seen der Hochebene 🚴♂️
⠀
🇮🇹 🗺️ 1. ITINERARIO

🚴 3. CICLABILITÀ E LOGISTICA
Fondo e tipo bici: Il percorso alterna tratti di asfalto secondario a bassissimo traffico, stradine montane comunali e alcuni settori su viabilità forestale a fondo sterrato compatto.

🇬🇧 Piné Gravel Tour: From Pergine to the Plateau Lakes 🚴♂️⠀
🗺️ 1. ITINERARY
A scenic gravel loop exploring the hillside slopes above Pergine, crossing the entire Piné Plateau past its alpine lakes, and climbing up to Passo Redebus.
Starting in Pergine Valsugana, the road ascends immediately toward the hillside hamlet of Serso, riding through picturesque rural landscapes to reach Riposo. Descending along the main road for a couple of kilometers, turn onto the narrow lane climbing toward Buss and Guarda, eventually reaching Montagnaga. Though short, this climb features steep gradients and should be paced carefully.
From Buss, two short detours are highly recommended: one to the village of Guarda and another to the Santuario di Montagnaga. From here, join the Montagnaga-Ferrari cycle path, which crosses the protected Laghestel nature reserve into Piné with zero traffic and plenty of shade (includes a couple of short unpaved sections).
Entering the heart of the Piné Plateau past Ferrari, reach Miola before arriving at the scenic shores of Lake Serraia and Lake Piazze. Take the cycle path (partly paved, partly hard-pack gravel) hugging both lakes up to Piazze. Continuing toward Centrale, tackle the third climb of the day: the steady, panoramic ascent to Bedollo, offering great views of the lakes and surrounding peaks. After reaching the top at Svaldi, descend back along the same road to Centrale.
Finally, turn onto the wilder Redebus road for one of the toughest climbs in the area: 3.8 km with 360 m of elevation gain to reach Passo Redebus (1,455 m), the pass dividing Piné from the Mocheni Valley. The opening sector stays consistently above 10% before easing slightly near the summit. From the pass, a long and scenic descent down the Mocheni Valley leads directly back to Pergine.

🚴 3. CYCLABILITY & LOGISTICS
Surface & Bike Choice: A mix of quiet secondary paved roads, minor mountain lanes, and short forestry gravel sectors. Tailor-made for gravel bikes: tires of at least 35 mm are recommended for stability on gravel transitions, alongside wide-range climbing gears. Road bikes (BDC) can complete the route by opting for paved road alternatives instead of the lakeside cycle paths.
Profile & Difficulty: Mid-mountain loop with 1,470 m of elevation gain spread over 50 km. The steepest sections (toward Montagnaga and the final Redebus climb) require careful pacing, balanced by flat, rolling sections along the Piné lakes.
Services & Water: Good access to water and rest stops: fountains in hillside villages (Serso, Guarda, Bedollo), lakeside cafes at Lake Serraia and Lake Piazze, and facilities at Passo Redebus.

🇩🇪 Piné Gravel Tour: Von Pergine zu den Seen der Hochebene 🚴♂️
⠀
🗺️ 1. ROUTENBESCHREIBUNG
