I finally found the time to work on the 200 again. Installed the aileron bllecranks supports and bellcranks. Now let’s move on with the pushrods …

Starting ro install the fuel system tubes, this is only the beginning. One tube goes from the fuel selector to the fuel pump, the other goes from the bulkhead just on the side of the fuel tank to the fuel selector. The plan is to have the other part of the fuel line from the fuel tank to the fuel selector mounted on the fuel tank and alligned with the piece that ends (or start) from the bulkhead just on the side of the fuel tank so that it SHOULD be easy to install simply positioning the fuel tank in tue fuselage.
The same SHOULD happen for the overfow and for the fuel drain.
Will post more pictures once I’ll be done with it.

Tailwheel unlocking handle.

Built and installed the tailwheel unlocking handle. The handle protrudes from under the side arm rest just like for the throttle lever. I have cutted a small slot on the arm rest so that it will provide the actual track and locking action. You can see how it operates on the next post with a small video.

Small update, installed two stops on the canopy inside handle so that it does not rotate when the outside handle is operated

Finished the pannel that supports the fuel valve (for now only the valve).
I am very pleased with the result, now ai can run some tubes for the fuel system.

Finally found the time to do something on the plane. Took some mesurements, drown a 3D mold, printed it and then layered 11 layers: 3 layers of carbon and 8 layers of fiberglass. Came out very sturdy and the shape is perfet.
I bonded the support just under the right foot pedal, between the main spar and the main landing gear seddle.
Next will be the fuel selectir valve and then some tubing.
Today I took out of the mold the pannel where the fuel valve will go. Shouldn’t take much before I post some other pictures.

Just the reinforcing lamination in the rear canopy bullhead.

Did not have enough time to work on my project lately, but have some news.
I bonded the rear bulkhead to the canopy frame, it needed some adjustment but nothin some sandpaper and a file could not handle. The overall result is good, I am happy.
Only think is the canopy is too precise at the moment, it kind of bind into place when closed on the airplane. When opening it is feels like removing a suction cup. I think that some filing here and there can solve this issue.
I stil have to laminate the reinforcement layer to the bulkhead. I was thinking to laminate it to the rear side of the bulkhead but I changed my mind after installing the canopy to the plane, I will laminate it only to the front side.
I also printed and bonded in place the base for the NACA cockpit air intake in nylon with added Carbon Fibers (PA6-CF), that stuff is very strong! I am surprised. After the reinforcing lamination on the rear bulkhead the canopy can be considered finished.
Will move on to the fuel system after the lamination.
