The weld is part of the design. didn't hide it — they painted around it.
The Allroad Identity is their take on a question worth asking: what does an Italian allroad bike look like when it doesn't apologise for being a road bike? Columbus steel tubing, classic geometry, a paint finish that treats every joint as a detail rather than something to cover up.
The Columbus Spirit bar up front. The Trefoil Allroad fork below — internal routing, 45 mm tyre clearance, built for exactly this kind of bike.
Tarmac or gravel. The Identity stays the same.

Congratulations - the Builders Choice Award goes to a framebuilder that earned it.
Columbus Hyperion is the kind of tubing that gives a builder the shapes and diameters they actually need to make something worth competing with.
The cockpit is the full Trittico system — handlebar, stem, seatpost, Trefoil Allroad fork. One integrated solution built specifically for handcrafted steel and titanium frames, where the trilobed steerer handles full cable integration without compromising the proportions a framebuilder spent months getting right.
For custom builders, that last part matters more than anything.
Well done, Darren!

CRAFT BIKE DAYS Italy
Day two is almost over.
Workshops, conversations, builders who speak the language of tubes and geometry like it's their mother tongue. Two days in and the room still hasn't run out of things to say.
Tonight we'll announce the winners — three categories, one frame each. Stay close.

CRAFT BIKE DAYS Italy
Day one. Done.
Italian frame builders, independent brands, and the kind of conversations that don't happen anywhere else. Exactly where Columbus belongs.
Swipe through what we saw today: our tubing and components on the bikes that made the room stop. Every weld, every junction, every detail — built by hands that know what they're doing.
Every frame in this carousel is in the contest. Head to our stories and vote for your favourite.

Gios blue needs no introduction. Neither does Columbus SL tubing, or a Cinelli RAM3 that still looks right thirty years on.
The Super Record is built on Columbus SL tubing — our classic seamless steel, the tubeset that defined what a racing frame could weigh and how it could ride through decades of professional cycling.
Paired with the Columbus Minimal carbon fork: the same bloodline, updated for disc geometry and contemporary brake standards, without losing the visual lightness the frame demands.
The rest of the build plays the same game. Campagnolo rim brakes and Bora WTO 45. And a Cinelli RAM3 handlebar — a shape first drawn in the early '90s that still feels ahead of its time, compact drop, distinctive profile, the kind of object that turns up on a vintage build and looks like it was always supposed to be there.

The 's Bagarre HC is a titanium road machine built around a single design principle: nothing visible that doesn't need to be.
Fully integrated cable routing, natural titanium finish, exposed welds that become part of the aesthetic rather than something to hide.
The integrated front end starts with the Columbus Spirit handlebar — one continuous line from stem to drop, no cables in sight. The Columbus Trefoil fork carries that logic through to the wheel: disc-native, routing-ready, nothing added that doesn't need to be there.
Titanium doesn't need paint or decoration. It just needs the right hands — and the right components.

Some frames carry a story worth telling in public.
This is 's gravel build — conceived around Columbus Hyperion, Grade 9 tubing, with fully integrated internal cable routing and a geometry built from a real rider fit session.
Everything in this project was earned: the form, the function, the finish.
Now it's soon heading to Craft Bike Days Italy, where craft like this belongs: in a room full of people who understand exactly what went into it.
Swipe through the build. See you there.

Some materials age. Titanium doesn't.
Titan is 's vision of what a titanium gravel bike can be when you start from the tube itself — Columbus Hyperion, our highest-performance titanium tubeset.
Conceived for builders who want generous tube diameters, clean weld behaviour, and a chassis that will outlast every component bolted to it.
The result is a bike with no expiry date: adjustable CEM rear geometry (415–425 mm), tyre clearance up to 700×50, UDH dropout, and a 3D-printed titanium headtube finished by hand in Italy.
Paired with the Columbus CENTO integrated carbon handlebar, it's a machine that looks as deliberate as it rides.

Milan meets Tuscany. Two Italian stories, one tubeset, one vision.
This racing machine is built around Columbus Spirit — our high-performance steel, with optimized wall thicknesses and evolved profiles, engineered to deliver the kind of specific stiffness and dynamic response you'd expect from a race platform, not a material compromise.
The result: 8.9 kg. Tyre clearance up to 35 mm. Campagnolo Ekar. Fulcrum Airbeat wheels.
Fast on tarmac. Ready when the road turns to gravel.
Steel doesn't age. It evolves.
