Congratulations to our own Akili Carris on being selected as the 2026 Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year at The University of New Mexico!

Markos Lagios led all hitters in the tournament with 9 hits over 4 games and led in multiple categories among qualified hitters.

The best pitching staff in València. Gave up only 1 extra base hit in 4 games. The Greeks led the qualifier in:

Final: Hellas beats Turkey to finish 2-2 overall in the first ever U23 tournament in federation history. With a final placement of 5th. 🇬🇷

After last night’s heartbreaking extra inning loss to host Spain, Hellas missed out on semifinal spot and defeats Croatia today in 5-7th placement game. Final game vs Turkey tomorrow for a chance to finish 5th.

FINAL: Greece’s last inning comeback falls short as tying run is stranded in scoring position. Hellas will face host Spain tomorrow at 17:00 local time.

Greek National Teammates Noah Zavolas and Harry Deliyannis suited up for the Baseball Jobs Overseas Globetrotters this past week at Honkbalweek Haarlem !

Deliyannis, an VALPO BASEBALL product, currently plays with the Braaschat Braves of the federation and will make his National Team debut at the 2027 European Championship.

Zavolas joined the Hellas for the 2023 and 2025 European Championships after pitching at Harvard and professionally in the US.
