Cober Winter and summer poles. Your Passion. Our Tradition.

ENG: Going back to ‘40’s, Renato Covini, Flavio’s father, today’s General Manager, was a ski poles, roller skates, and tennis rackets manufacturer. As years passed by, the increasing technical development and the rise and growth of the new sports disciplines turned out the company into one of the leading pole manufactures, both of summer and winter sports. Thanks to the use of low-impact technologies and the recycling of productions scraps, the Opera plant, just outside Milan, is environment-friendly. In addition to favour low-impact technologies, company agrees to EOCA (European Outdoor Conservation Association), an association between European companies, financing projects oriented to environmental conservation, and natural heritage respect.

Long foam grip, shaped to fit your hand for hours without complaining. Right below it, the lever closure locks everything in place with one flick, no fumbling, no second-guessing halfway up a climb. Set it once, forget about it, and let the trail do the rest.

Every trail throws in a little challenge, a stream to cross, a rock to jump. That's the part that makes you feel alive, not the flat easy stretch before it. A steady pole plant makes all the difference between a clean landing and a wet boot.

Adjust, extend, go. Takes two seconds to set up, two seconds to fold away, Buxus never slows down the hike.

Packing up at the end of a hike always feels a little bittersweet — the trail behind you, the car ahead, and that stretch of tired legs in between. It's the quiet part nobody posts about, but it's half the ritual, Buxus collapses to just 38cm, clips onto your pack, and disappears until you need it again.

115cm one trip, 135cm the next, 38cm folded and forgotten in your bag until you need them again. Buxus adapts so you don't have to think about it.

It's not the shaft, it's not the grip, it's the cord running through the middle that makes Buxus fold in the first place. The quiet detail doing all the work.

There's a rhythm the forest sets that's impossible to rush, dappled light, the crunch of the path, the sense that time works differently under all that green. You either slow down to match it, or you miss the whole point of being there. A small stop in the shade, a quick adjustment, and back into the rhythm of the walk. Nothing about Buxus interrupts the flow
