Thrilling Battles at Slovakia Ring

SSP 300
The fifth round of the Alpe Adria International Championship at Slovakia Ring delivered an exciting weekend of racing in the Supersport 300 class, with extremely close battles at the front throughout the event.

In the first qualifying session, Antonis Ventouras set the pace with a 2:25.906 lap, ahead of Jan Winkler and Ales Malina. In Qualifying 2, Winkler responded with the fastest time of 2:25.971, just 0.033 seconds ahead of Ventouras.

Race 1 produced a dramatic finish, with Bas Hasan Huseyin taking victory by just 0.183 seconds from Tashan Oguz. Ishak Demir Donmez completed the podium, while Jakub Adamik finished fourth after another strong performance.

Sunday's Sprint Race saw Ales Malina claim victory after five laps. The Czech rider finished only 0.041 seconds ahead of Oguz, with Ventouras third and Adamik fourth. The Sprint was particularly intense, with the leading six riders separated by just over 1.3 seconds.

The weekend concluded with another incredibly close Race 2. Antonis Ventouras took the win, just 0.077 seconds ahead of Oguz. Malina finished third, while Adamik crossed the line fourth, only 0.403 seconds behind the winner.

SSP
Benjamin Baumgartner was the leading SSP 600 rider throughout the weekend. He set the fastest SSP time in Qualifying 1 with 2:10.214, while in Qualifying 2 he was again the fastest SSP rider with 2:11.163.

Baumgartner continued his strong form by winning Race 1. He also finished as the best SSP rider in the Sprint Race and repeated the achievement in Race 2, completing a perfect weekend for the class.

STK 600 After the crash of Karlo Gršić t practices who was unable to procede with the weekend, the Superstock 600 class was dominated by Riccardo Micahielin, who was fastest in Qualifying 2 with a 2:10.049 lap after Fourthiotis Spyridon Marios had been the leading STK rider in Qualifying 1.

Michielin then took victory in both Race 1 and the Sprint Race. In Race 1 he won by just 0.064 seconds, while the Sprint victory margin was 5.728 seconds. In Race 2, Fourthiotis claimed the STK 600 victory, giving the class a different winner in the final race.

600 NG
The 600 NG class also provided plenty of action. Vaclav Bittman was the fastest NG rider in Qualifying 1, while Ladislav Veverka set the best NG time in Qualifying 2.

Veverka took the NG victory in both Race 1 and the Sprint Race, with Patrycja Sowa finishing second in Race 1. The final Race 2 belonged to Vaclav Bittman, who took a convincing NG victory with a best lap of 2:09.989, finishing just 0.196 seconds ahead of Veverka.

STK 1000
The STK 1000 class delivered an exciting weekend at Slovakia Ring during Round 5 of the Alpe Adria International Championship, with Bartlomiej Moranski emerging as the dominant rider.

Moranski set the pace in the first qualifying session with a 2:06.103, ahead of Grzegorz Hanuszewicz and Croatian rider Leon Jurcak. In Qualifying 2, Hanuszewicz responded with the fastest lap of 2:06.689, while Moranski did not set a time.

Moranski converted his strong qualifying pace into victory in Race 1, winning after 11 laps in 23:30.088. Hanuszewicz finished second, while Martin Tritscher completed the podium. Leon Jurcak finished an impressive fourth, just 0.432 seconds behind Tritscher.

The Sprint produced another close battle between Moranski and Hanuszewicz. Moranski took the win by only 0.288 seconds, with Tritscher third and Jurcak fourth.

Moranski completed a perfect weekend by winning Race 2 with another strong performance, setting the fastest lap at 2:06.372. Tritscher finished second, while Leon Jurcak secured another podium with third place, just over 11 seconds behind the winner.

SBK
The SBK class delivered an exciting weekend at the Slovakia Ring during Round 5 of the Alpe Adria International Championship.

Qualifying: Michal Filla was the benchmark from the opening session, taking pole with a 2:02.330, with Croatian Dominik Buterin second. Filla was again fastest in Qualifying 2 with a 2:02.325, while Buterin finished third.

Race 1: Filla controlled the 11-lap race to take victory in 22:48.053. Buterin delivered a strong performance to finish second, 23.671 seconds behind the winner.

Sprint Race: Filla continued his winning form in the six-lap Sprint, taking another victory. Hannes Schafzahl finished second and David Checa third, while Buterin was forced to retire after three laps.

Race 2: The final race followed the same pattern, with Filla claiming his third victory of the weekend. Buterin again finished second, while David Checa completed the podium.

Filla was therefore unbeaten throughout the SBK weekend, while Buterin’s two second-place finishes in the main races highlighted a strong performance for the Croatian rider and Spark Racing Team.

CUP 600
Qualifying: Kacper Wójcik set the pace in both qualifying sessions. He took pole in Q1 with a 2:11.084 and was again fastest in Q2 with 2:12.763.

Race 1: Wójcik converted pole position into victory, winning the nine-lap race with a best lap of 2:10.859. William Benedet finished second, followed by Croatian rider Teo Sekulic in third.

Race 2: Wójcik completed a perfect weekend by taking his second victory. He won Race 2 with a best lap of 2:09.956, ahead of Vaclav Balvin and William Benedet. Teo Sekulic again delivered a strong performance, finishing fourth.

Wójcik therefore dominated the CUP 600 weekend at Slovakia Ring, securing pole position in both qualifying sessions and victories in both races.

CUP 1000
Qualifying: Strahinja Kovacevic was the fastest rider in both qualifying sessions, taking pole with 2:05.903 in Q1 and improving to 2:05.351 in Q2. Luka Sadric was among the leading Croatian riders, setting a best time of 2:09.109 in Q1.

Race 1: Kovacevic continued his dominant form and took victory after nine laps, setting the fastest lap of 2:04.758. Krzysztof Szypula finished second, with Attila Nagy third. Luka Sadric unfortunately retired after the opening lap.

Race 2: Kovacevic completed a perfect weekend with another victory, this time setting the fastest lap at 2:04.646. Szypula finished second, while Ales Senekovic took third. The race was again highly competitive, with several riders finishing within seconds of each other.

Kovacevic therefore dominated Round 5, taking both qualifying sessions and both CUP 1000 races at Slovakia Ring.

SPORTBIKE
In Qualifying 1, Daniel Turecek set the pace with a best lap of 2:15.261, ahead of Patrycja Sowa and Razvan Teodorescu. In the second qualifying session, Nejc Petric was fastest among the riders who took to the track, recording 2:25.618.

Race 1 saw Turecek continue his strong form, taking a convincing victory after nine laps. Sowa finished second, followed by Owen Lukacs, while Petric crossed the line fourth.

Sunday's Sprint Race brought another win for Turecek. Over five laps, he finished more than 11 seconds ahead of Sowa, with Lukacs completing the podium. Petric finished fourth, while Zuran Tai and Konstantinos Kapoudalis battled closely for fifth and sixth.

The weekend concluded with Race 2, and once again Turecek was unbeatable. He secured his third victory of the weekend with a fastest lap of 2:14.795. Sowa again finished second, while Lukacs took third. Petric was fourth, followed by Zuran Tai and Kapoudalis.

Daniel Turecek therefore completed a perfect SPORTBIKE weekend at Slovakia Ring, winning Race 1, the Sprint Race and Race 2.

The Alpe Adria Junior Championship took place on 23 August 2026 at the AMZS Center Varne Vožnje in Vransko, Slovenia, bringing together young riders in the GP110 Junior, GP160 Junior and GP2 Junior categories. Two races were held in each class, with the final overall standings determined by the combined points from both races.

In the GP110 Junior category, Dominik Spes was the dominant rider of the event. Representing Shark Racing, Spes won both races and collected the maximum 50 points to take overall victory. Jan Jakubec finished second with 40 points, while Tibor Botond Sas completed the podium with 32 points.

The GP160 Junior class saw another perfect performance from Jakob Štiftar of ŠD Oktani. Štiftar won both races and secured first place overall with 50 points. Sebastian Šehić of MK Kvarner finished second in both races to take the runner-up position with 40 points, while David Štilec completed the overall podium with 32 points.

In the GP2 Junior category, slovakian rider Lucian Vegh of Tichelmann Team was unbeatable, taking victory in both races and finishing the event with a perfect score of 50 points. Aleksandar Zidarić of MK Križevci secured second place overall with 40 points, while Kai Zupan Vehabovic of ŠD Oktani finished third with 32 points.

Further down the GP2 Junior standings, Erik Sudan finished fourth overall with 24 points, ahead of Anže Rupnik in fifth. Paolo Škaron completed the top six with 21 points after consistent performances in both races.

The Vransko event once again delivered close and competitive junior racing across the Alpe Adria region, with several riders demonstrating impressive consistency by scoring strongly in both races. Dominik Spes, Jakob Štiftar and Lucian Vegh emerged as the overall winners of their respective categories, each achieving a perfect two-race score.

The AA Vintage Championship 2026 delivered two exciting races at the Grobnik Circuit on August 16, with riders competing across Vintage 1 and Vintage 2 categories. The event featured close battles, dominant performances and several changes at the top between the two races.

Vintage 1 races, in Classic 250, Mario Peklić (Croatia, Yamaha) was the dominant rider, taking victory in both races. He completed six laps in 11:18.234 in Race 1 and improved to 11:06.757 in Race 2. He also set the fastest lap of Race 2 with a 1:49.213.

Classic 500 saw Tomislav Bartolec (Croatia, Kawasaki) claim two wins. Christian Wagner-Harbrink finished second in both races, while Stanislav Havelka completed the podium in Race 1 and was classified third in Race 2.

Nenad Jagodić (Croatia, Honda) was equally successful in Classic 750, winning both races. In Race 1, Arrigo Vinsani and Oscar Muzio completed the podium, while both were classified as non-finishers in Race 2.

The Oldtimer 500 class produced two different winners. Roberto Maria Coda took Race 1 ahead of Darko Škibin and Pavel Votava, while Votava won Race 2, with Škibin second and Coda third.

In Oldtimer Over 500, Jiri Havelka completed a perfect weekend, taking a clear victory in both races aboard his Honda.

At Vintage 2 races Zoran Salopek dominated Classic Legend, winning both seven-lap races. Ninoslav Herceg was runner-up in both, while Filip Makšić secured third place on both occasions.

In Classic Open, Zdeslav Dumbović was the standout performer, taking both victories. Alessandro Beleiu finished second in Race 1 and Race 2, while Radoslav Kupka completed the podium in both races.

The closest battle of the entire Vintage 2 weekend came in Classic SBK. Roman Krajčo won Race 1 by 2.886 seconds over his teammate Mario Krajčo. In Race 2, Mario turned the tables, winning by just 0.046 seconds over Roman. The second race also produced the fastest lap of Vintage 2, with Mario Krajčo setting a 1:36.471.

With strong performances across all classes, the Grobnik round of the AA Vintage Championship 2026 provided a memorable weekend of historic motorcycle racing, highlighted by several double victories and an exceptionally close Classic SBK finish.

Seven-Time Austrian Champion Marco Mempör Wins AAMU Trial Cup in Salzstiegl

The AAMU Trial Cup was held on August 16, 2026, in Salzstiegl, Styria, Austria, bringing together riders from several European countries across four categories.

The overall victory went to Austrian trial rider Marco Mempör, who dominated the AAMU Open category with just 1 penalty point. Mempör is a seven-time Austrian Trial Champion and an experienced rider who also competes at the FIM Trial World Championship, making his appearance at the AAMU Trial Cup a highlight of the event.

Marius Spiegel finished second with 23 points, followed by Philipp Neuhäuser with 36. Markus Leithner scored 63 points for fourth place, while Julian Schaumburger completed the top five with 79 points.

In the AAMU Expert class, victory went to Italy's Simon Hafer with 19 points, ahead of Hungary's Barna Sanz on 21 points and Italy's Jonas Comploj on 43.

The AAMU Junior class won goes to Eric Weissensteiner with 12 points, while Dominik Eder finished second with 24 points.

In the AAMU Youth category, Slovakia's Max Szabo took victory with 15 points. Manuel Pache finished second with 29 points, followed by Florian-Johann Leslie with 50 points.

The Salzstiegl event once again demonstrated the international character of the AAMU Trial Cup, while the participation and overall victory of seven-time Austrian champion and World Championship rider Marco Mempör added particular prestige to the competition.

Saturday is reserved for AA trial at Salzstiegl

The AAMU competition at Salzstiegl/Hirschegg, Austria, on August 15, 2026, delivered action across four classes.

In the AAMU Open, Julian Schaumburger took first place, ahead of Marius Spiegel and Philipp Neubauer. Marco Mempör finished fourth, while Simon Hofer recorded a DNF.

Jonas Comploi won the AAMU Expert class, followed by Simon Taferner and Barna Samu Borsi.

In the AAMU Junior category, Dominik Eder secured victory ahead of Eric Weissensteiner, while AAMU Youth was won by Florian-Johann Leslie, with Max Szabo and Manuel Pechtaker completing the podium.

Cremona Circuit Delivered Close Racing In All Classes

The fourth round of the Alpe Adria International Championship at Cremona Circuit delivered close racing in all classes...

SBK - Michal Filla was the dominant rider in the SBK class during Round 4 of the Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship at Cremona Circuit. The Czech rider secured pole position, setting the fastest lap of the weekend in Q2 with a 1:31.342. Filla then converted his qualifying advantage into victory in Race 1, leading home Krešvan Enej and Buterin Dominik. He also won the Sprint Race, once again ahead of Kreševan and Buterin. In Race 2, however, Enej turned the tables, taking a convincing victory after Filla retired early. Dominik Buterin finished second, while Prašek Michal completed the podium. With two wins, a second place and pole position Filla Michal was the standout performer of the SBK weekend at Cremona.

SuperStock1000 - Dimitrios Karakostas was the dominant rider in the 1000 STK class at Round 4 of the Alpe Adria International Championship in Cremona. The Greek rider took pole position setting a best time of 1:33.188 in Q2. He then converted his strong qualifying pace into two convincing race victories. Bartlomiej Moranski finished runner-up in both races, while Croatia’s Jurčak Leon completed the podium twice with two third-place finishes. Karakostas leaves Cremona as the clear standout of the 1000 STK weekend after a perfect double victory.

STK 600 - Croatian rider Karlo Gršić was the standout performer, taking victory in the Sprint Race and finishing third in Race 2. Riccardo Michielin won Race 2, while Spyridon Marios Fourthiotis claimed Race 1 after a strong battle at the front. Other notable performances came from Benjamin Baumgartner, Stefano Sala and Luca Spigariol, who consistently fought inside the leading group.

SSP 600 - In the Supersport 600 class, Alexandros Papageorgiou was highly competitive throughout the weekend, scoring a podium in Race 1 and another strong result in the Sprint. Benjamin Baumgartner also impressed with two podium finishes overall.

600 NG - Vaclav Bittman produced a strong weekend in the 600 NG class, finishing second in Race 1 and fourth in Race 2, while Ladislav Veverka added a top-five finish and a strong Sprint performance.

SuperSport300 - Oguz Tashan (Kawasaki) dominated qualifying, class SuperSport300 taking pole position with a 1:45.647, and converted it into victory in Race 1. The Turkish rider crossed the finish line just 0.253 seconds ahead of Antonis Ventouras (Yamaha), while Jan Winkler (Kawasaki) completed the podium at race1. Sebastian Dumitrascu finished fourth, followed by Dumitru Dragos and Hugo Viklund. Donmez Ishak Demir, who initially finished third, was later disqualified for a technical infringement related to the minimum weight requirement. The SuperSport300 class delivered another exciting day of racing at Cremona in the fourth round of the Alpe Adria International Championship. Oguz Tashan (Kawasaki) dominated the five-lap Sprint Race, beating Antonis Ventouras (Yamaha) by just 0.345 seconds. Donmez Ishak Demir finished third. In the nine-lap Race 2, Ventouras took a convincing victory, with Demir second and Jan Winkler third. Tashan, who crossed the finish line first, was later disqualified for a non-compliant chest protector, promoting Ventouras to the top step of the podium.

1000 CUP - Kovačević Takes Double Victory at Cremona. Strahinja Kovačević dominated the 1000 CUP class at Round 4 of the Alpe Adria International Championship at Cremona. The Serbian rider was fastest in both qualifying sessions, securing pole position with a best lap of 1:33.756 in Q2. Kovačević then completed a perfect weekend with victories in both Race 1 and Race 2. In Race 1, Fabio Francini finished second ahead of Attila Nagy, while Race 2 saw Sadrić Luka take second and Claudio Secchi complete the podium.

CUP 600 - Balvin and Benedet Share Victories at Cremona. Vaclav Balvin dominated qualifying, taking pole position and showing excellent pace throughout the weekend. In Race 1, Italy’s William Benedet converted his strong qualifying pace into victory, finishing ahead of Balvin, while Wojcik Kacper took third. Balvin responded in Race 2, taking a clear victory ahead of Kacper and Croatia’s Teo Sekulić, who secured third place.

SPORTBIKE - Emiliano Ercolani dominated the SPORTBIKE class at Round 4 of the Alpe Adria International Championship at Cremona, taking pole position. The Italian rider then converted his pace into two race victories. In Race 1, Ercolani finished ahead of Loris Pedrotti and Alessandro Zanca. Race 2 saw Oscar Roldan Nunez take second, with Daniel Turecek completing the podium. Pedrotti was forced to retire from Race 2 after nine laps.
