The end of another solid week winning the Isle of Man Half Marathon with a 70 flat, half the race at 70.3 pace, half the race at half marathon pace

It felt good to be in control of these type of days and win again on pretty much the same course the cycling champs was held on last week

11th at San Francisco ⚡️

Swam well with the current helping reduce time in the water, it was hard to navigate the start and with no second chances after loosing the feet in front I swam solo 90% of the way very choppy and tough conditions coming out with < half the deficit I had in Dubai T100 last year.

Biked really solid power for me, 325w avg, 340np for 2 hours - unfortunately this course didn’t care too much about your cda (how aero you are) which I 100% know plays a big roll in my best bike performances, so didn’t really suit me, but gave it a good whack anyway.

Legs then weren’t great for the run, spent a lot of time over threshold on the bike which definitely took away my leg speed, maybe a little of the Roth training recently did the same too but if holding 3:30per km on loose gravel in super windy conditions and managing to win a sprint at the end too is a ‘bad run’ then I can be pretty excited for a good run.

Nonetheless an amazing experience and privilege to race all over the world representing my team and sponsors!

I have special memories of - it was the first time I really seen what the top guys of the sport were doing, it blew me away, but I knew right then I wanted to be one of those guys one day…

So lining up tomorrow with bib number 1 feels a little surreal. I’ve got a long way to go in this sport but this race reminds me of how far I’ve came. Thanks to everyone who’s been here from the start or joined me on the way. To dáme!

Career best swim (50s to front pack), fastest bike split by over 4 minutes and a controlled 1:12 half marathon to take my 5th professional triathlon win in a new 70.3 PB (03:36:11). A little boost in confidence as we continue building into this new season! 🙌🏼

Super excited for the 2026 race season with Kú cycle.

We just finished our second session at the velodrome in Amsterdam testing for the optimal aerodynamic position and kit. This team and support is definitely the next level from 2025.

Season starts next weekend at Ironman 70.3 Valencia. A first chance to test the form as we build into a big year ahead!

Slowly chipping away ⚒️

Rankings come down to two things: staying healthy and performing when it matters.

I’ve been pretty consistent overall. 2021 gave me a big boost (one race switched to a duathlon), 2023 did the opposite with injury limiting my season.

I’ve always been proud of my patience, I didn’t copy the top guys because I wasn’t one. I did what I needed to do to get slightly better each year. Sure you can go all in and probably get better quicker, but the risk of burn out is high.

Your head and heart has to be in the game to perform year after year. Leaving no stone unturned is as much about turning them over at the right time as it is about turning them over at all.

2026 is on the horizon and I’m looking forward to what will come 👊🏼

2025, 12 races, 6 podiums, 3 wins.

Proud of this year and privileged to have so many people supporting me from when I first started to where I’m at now.
