A NETWORK that inspires and nurtures the CULTURE OF MOVEMENT. I suoi mutevoli spazi sono pronti ad accogliere creatori, maestri ed esecutori della danza. E’ una struttura in cui effettuare un percorso di formazione e ricerca culturale ed artistica, che si occupa di promozione e diffusione, attraverso la cultura dell’espressività infusa nelle arti così come nei mestieri. L’idea di un progetto in cui far convogliare l’aspetto didattico della formazione ed il mondo professionale della messa in opera, nasce dall’esigenza di conferire concretezza all’atto dello studio, il quale può essere affrontato per mera passione, ma anche e soprattutto per la volontà di farne un mestiere. E' dunque un centro di formazione per i mestieri dello spettacolo e per le discipline ad essi annesse, ad una location per esposizioni d’arte, happening e performance, nonché un luogo adatto all’allestimento di spettacoli di danza e teatro, ed atto ad ospitare audizioni, casting, set fotografici, meeting, seminari e concorsi. Weekly workshops with Sofia Nappi - KOMOCO’s choreographer - open to professional dancers and movers from all backgrounds.

Each session is a full-body, full-senses experience: a journey into new possibilities through play, improvisation, and exploration.
In Komoco’s research this becomes the Kreaturistic Character (KC) — connecting with the creature within us (the one we forgot about!) to discover fresh awareness and unique artistic individuality.
From big, bold shapes to the tiniest details, it’s all about expressing yourself in endless ways.

Every lab ends with a special dive into the KC choreographic repertoire.
