Let's hear it

Here's a special shout out to my Italian family.
If you are a foreigner, you will definitely understand how challenging it can be sometimes when you are away from family. The nostalgia and loneliness that can creep in from time to time to steal your joy.

Here's my holiday story though.

Every holiday in Italy was warm and cozy because of these women. They took me in as their own and made sure I never spent a single holiday alone. would book flights months in advance for me to go with them to Sicily every December. My Italian mommy. Nonna who made sure that I gained a few pounds before leaving. She makes the best food 😭 .m.sagona is my crazy aunty who made me cry and laugh with one sentence. My baccala whom I love so much, whom I sang and danced to the craziest songs we made up on the spot the sister and friend I cherish with everything in me. My relationship with these women is priceless. I love them so much more than words can describe.
I look back and cry tears of joy and gratitude because I was and I am still blessed with these Angels. I love you all so much and I wish you the best Christmas ever.

I realized that a lot of times when I don't have answers to questions it probably because those questions have never been asked and the answers do not exist yet. Or maybe because I have heard a narrative I don't relate to, I want to different but I haven't figured out what different is yet so I am taking my time to find out and create my own narrative.

Them: Lenora what is your dream company.

Me: I don't have one. It doesn't exist yet. I am crafting it in my mind

This morning while journaling, I was reminded once again that I am living the life I once prayed about.
All I have to say is that you Lord.

Before you do anything else, you need to figure what works for you. How? By learning.  Learning about yourself, who you are, what makes you unique, what makes you happy. Learn about your body shape and how to dress for it -- which cuts, patterns, shapes  and styles to wear and how to wear them. Take time to learn about which colours suit you and learn about your own unique personal style -- what you like and dislike, what feels like "you" and what doesn't.

Read books, articles on the  the internet or hire a Personal Stylist to give you one-on-one, personalized assistance and advice.
