First hybrid race in the pro category done! ✅
Didn’t get the time I wanted last weekend, it was so hot and humid in there that the sled pull felt like it weighed a ton 🙁
Hands were completely annihilated.
(Content warning: gross hands on slide 5)
Learned a ton for the next one, onward we go!

Whoa. Definitely the toughest physical event I’ve done in ages.
Super proud of myself.
Smile plastered onto my face for most of the race (except during the approximately 500 effing wall balls that I did).
What a great reminder that I am living my ancestors wildest dreams.
Thanks to the team at and all of the amazing folks who trained and raced this weekend. Couldn’t have done it without you 🥰
Strong AF boyeeeee!

You learned to keep going when your eyes sting.
To stay useful when the room goes quiet.
To ignore the first, second, and third signs of fatigue.
Stopping always came with a cost.
Rest showed up only (maybe)
after the deck was sent,
after the meeting ended,
after you were too tired to think clearly.
Not in the middle of an ordinary day.
So when nothing is required, your body doesn’t soften.
You reach for your phone.
You scan tomorrow’s calendar.
Alert instead of relieved.
On the couch, laptop closed, you’re still listening for the ping.
A quiet room doesn’t feel peaceful.
It feels unfinished.
You don’t need stricter rules about rest.
You need different experiences.
Stopping without consequences.
Pausing without fallout.
Leaving something unfinished and watching nothing explode.
Rest becomes possible when your body learns this the slow way:
You stop answering.
The world keeps going.
You’re still here.

Let’s change the pattern where it actually lives.

The next time you have rest planned, try this instead:
Pay attention to the urge to go do something productive.
Tell yourself something like: ah yes, this is the part where I want to get up and do something instead of honoring the rest I had scheduled for myself.
And then just sit with the discomfort of the urge.
It’ll feel terrible at first, but it will get easier over time, I promise.
Because the struggle with rest is your conditioning.
Rest was never treated as neutral.
When worth is tied to output, stopping feels loaded.
And it can be rewired.
If you want to retrain your operating system to be able to rest effectively so you can be even more creative, productive, and feel more alive, message me to book your consult to talk about 1:1 coaching.

For high achievers, just the act of letting themselves be supported can be the shift that changes everything.
One of my clients recently said that just knowing that she has support feels healing.
Let’s see what’s possible for you when you’re not carrying it all on your own.

You’re not imagining it.
Your nervous system is stuck in go mode.
If you’ve ever caught yourself checking work emails at midnight, scrolling through Slack in bed “just in case”, you know this one:
→ “If I miss something, it’ll blow up.”
→ “It’s easier to check than to stress about what might be waiting.”
→ “If I’m not always available, what does that say about me?”
This isn’t dedication, it’s a survival strategy.
One that’s slowly wrecking your sleep, your focus, and your ability to lead like the badass you actually are.
The fix isn’t rest more. (If it were that easy, you’d be doing it.)
It’s rewiring the belief that constant availability = value.
✨ A boundary that changes everything:
→ No email after 7pm. Full stop.
Yes, your brain will panic at first.
→ “What if something happens?”
→ “What if they think I’m not committed?”
And then… calm. Relief. Space. Sanity.
Because the world can wait until morning.
You are not on call for your own life.
This is the work I do with my clients.
Burnout isn’t fixed with bubble baths.
It’s fixed with boundaries. With rewiring. With learning how to lead without sacrificing yourself.
