DAY 1 COMPLETE AT THE 20th FIPSed BLACK BASS FISHING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

The opening day of competition at the 20th FIPSed Black Bass Fishing World Championship on Lake Hamilton, Hot Springs, Arkansas (USA) delivered exciting action and a highly competitive leaderboard. After the first of three scheduled competition days, the host nation, the United States of America, takes the provisional lead with an impressive total catch weight of 23.890 kg, followed by South Africa and Italy in third place.
This edition of the World Championship is particularly significant as it welcomes several nations making their debut appearance, including Colombia, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic, highlighting the continued global growth of Black Bass fishing and the increasing international appeal of the discipline. Colombia, in particular, enjoyed an outstanding start, finishing Day 1 in 10th place and placing one pair among the top performers of the day.
With two competition days still to come, every fish and every gram will be crucial as teams battle for the world title on the renowned waters of Lake Hamilton. The competition remains wide open, promising more excitement and dramatic shifts in the standings over the coming days.

🏆 ENGLAND CROWNED WORLD CHAMPIONS AT PIEDILUCO 🏆
The curtain has fallen on the 5th FIPSed Predators Artificial Bait from Kayak World Championship 2026, held on the magnificent waters of Lake Piediluco, Italy, and organized by FIPSAS under the auspices of FIPSed. After three days of intense competition, spectacular catches, and outstanding sportsmanship, the world's best kayak predator anglers have their champions.
In the final Nations Ranking, England delivered a dominant performance to secure the World Championship title with just 26 penalty points, recording an impressive 3,000 cm of valid catches and 80 fish. The silver medal went to Romania with 116.5 points, while host nation Italy claimed a well-deserved bronze medal with 117.5 points, finishing ahead of Spain after a highly competitive event.
The Team competition also highlighted England's supremacy, with England A taking the gold medal. England B secured second place, while Romania B completed the podium in third position. Italy A finished just outside the medals in fourth place after an excellent championship performance.
The Individual World Championship title was won by Richard Archer of England, who produced an extraordinary tournament performance with 1,189 cm of total catches, 29 fish, and a remarkable 106 cm pike among his catches. The silver medal was awarded to fellow English angler David Jacobs with 1,001 cm, while another English representative, Tiberiu Nica, completed an all-English podium with 810 cm and the bronze medal.
This World Championship concludes as a great success both technically and organizationally, bringing together athletes from Europe and the Americas in an atmosphere of friendship, fair play, and a shared passion for predator fishing from kayak. The event confirmed Lake Piediluco as a world-class venue for international angling competitions.

🏆 DAY 2 COMPLETED AT THE 5th FIPSed PREDATORS ARTIFICIAL BAIT FROM KAYAK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026
Lake Piediluco delivered another exciting day of competition as the world's best kayak anglers battled for every centimeter in the second leg of the Championship.
In the Nation Ranking after two legs, England holds the lead with 17 points, thanks to an impressive total of 2,170 cm and 55 fish caught. Romania currently occupies second place, while Mexico completes the provisional podium.

The Team Ranking confirms England's dominance, with England A leading the standings ahead of England B and Romania B. The battle for the remaining podium positions remains extremely close going into the final day.

In the Individual Ranking, the top four positions are occupied by English anglers. Richard Archer leads the overall classification with 2.5 points, followed by Tiberiu Nica and David Jacobs. Romania's Lucian Herlaș currently sits in fifth place, while Spain's Ruben Soler Perez Vico is sixth.

The championship remains wide open, with one final leg still to be contested. Every fish and every point will be crucial as athletes and teams fight for the titles of World Champions.

The opening day of the 5th FIPSed Predators Artificial Bait from Kayak World Championship 2026 delivered exciting action on the waters of Lake Piediluco, Italy, where athletes from six nations battled for the first crucial points in a competition that will continue through Saturday.
After the first leg, England has taken an early lead in the Nation Ranking with an outstanding performance, recording a total catch length of 1,024 cm, 27 fish, and the tournament's largest fish so far measuring 106 cm. Italy currently occupies second place, followed by Romania in third.

72nd COARSE ANGLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR NATIONS

The first day of competition at the 72nd Coarse Angling World Championship for Nations has concluded on the Sorraia River in Coruche, Portugal, with an exciting battle already unfolding among the world's top coarse angling teams.
After the first leg, the Czech Republic leads the team standings with 15 penalty points, closely followed by Hungary with 16 and France with 20.5.
Slovakia occupies fourth place with 21 points, while England rounds out the provisional top five on 22 points.
The individual podium after Day 1 is completed by Alexandre Caudin of France and José Alfonso Pardo García of Spain, while several nations remain firmly in contention ahead of the decisive second leg.

With just one competition day remaining, every point will be crucial as teams fight for the world title in one of the most prestigious and historic championships on the international FIPSed calendar. 26th CARP FISHING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR NATIONS: UKRAINE CLAIMS WORLD TITLE IN MAVROVO
The 26th edition of the Carp Fishing World Championship for Nations has come to a close at Lake Mavrovo, North Macedonia, following an intense 72-hour competition organized by the Macedonian Fishing Federation. Thirty-three national teams competed in one of the most prestigious events on the international FIPSed calendar, showcasing outstanding technical skill and determination throughout the championship.
The Ukrainian National Team secured the World Championship title with an impressive performance, finishing with 4 team points and a total catch weight of 435.850 kg, accumulated through the capture of 162 fish. Hungary claimed the silver medal with 6 points and 229.575 kg, while Lithuania completed the podium in third place with 12 points and 181.625 kg.
