Eberechi Eze has officially been presented as a new Arsenal player, completing a high-profile transfer from Crystal Palace.
The 27-year-old midfielder, who was once in the Arsenal academy before being released, returns to North London in a deal worth up to £67.5 million.
The transfer saw Arsenal beat out rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who had been heavily linked with Eze. Reports suggest Arsenal moved decisively after a knee injury to Kai Havertz.
Eze will wear the number 10 shirt, previously worn by club legends like Dennis Bergkamp and Mesut Özil. The move is a significant one for Arsenal, as it strengthens their attacking options and adds a dynamic, creative talent to their squad. Eze himself is a boyhood Arsenal fan, making the move particularly meaningful for him.
Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta and Sporting Director Andrea Berta both expressed their delight with the signing, highlighting Eze's talent, mentality, and journey as key reasons for bringing him to the club.

I WANT ISAK BACK" says Newcastle Manager.
Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has addressed the ongoing transfer saga involving striker Alexander Isak, stating that he is hopeful of seeing him back in a Newcastle shirt. Howe described the situation as a "lose-lose" for the club but emphasized his desire to reintegrate the player into the squad.
The situation has become public after Isak released a statement on social media accusing the club of "broken promises," to which Newcastle issued a counter-statement denying the claims. Isak has been training away from the first team as he seeks a transfer, with Liverpool reportedly having a bid rejected.
In a recent press conference, Howe confirmed that Isak would not be part of the squad for the upcoming match against Liverpool. However, he expressed confidence that both the players and the fans would welcome Isak back if he were to remain at the club.
Howe stated that while the situation is "far from ideal," he believes the relationship between Isak and the club can be repaired and that he wants to see the player back in action for Newcastle. He also confirmed that he has had conversations with Isak about his future, but stressed that these are best kept private.
The transfer window closes on September 1, and Howe acknowledged that the saga is "coming to an end."

A Heartfelt Tribute: James Milner Honors Diogo Jota with Brighton Shirt Number Change
In a touching display of respect, Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder James Milner has changed his shirt number from 6 to 20 for the upcoming season.
This move is a tribute to his former Liverpool teammate, Diogo Jota, who tragically passed away in a car crash last month.
Milner and Jota played together at Liverpool for three seasons, and Milner described him as an "amazing player" and "a great friend."
The number 20 shirt holds special significance, as it was the number Jota wore during his time at Liverpool. In a separate tribute, Liverpool FC has also announced that they will permanently retire the number 20 shirt across all levels of the club.
A true mark of respect from a footballing legend.

Bayern Munich's highly-rated midfielder Jamal Musiala faces a significant spell on the sidelines after reportedly suffering a broken left fibula and damaged ligaments in his ankle. The severe injury occurred during a collision with Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in Atlanta, USA.
Musiala, who was stretchered off the field in visible pain, is expected to be out of action for an estimated four to five months, according to reports from German outlets Bild and kicker. This devastating setback means the 22-year-old's 2025 footballing year is likely over, and he faces a challenging road to recovery, especially after only recently returning from a hamstring injury in April.
The incident occurred late in the first half, prompting immediate concern from players on both sides, with Donnarumma visibly shaken by the unintentional collision. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany and teammate Thomas Müller have expressed their disappointment and support for Musiala, emphasizing the emotional toll such an injury takes on a player who "lives for football."
While the diagnosis has been widely reported, an official statement from Bayern Munich detailing the full extent of the injury and precise recovery timeline is anticipated following further medical examinations upon Musiala's return to Germany.
