Ci sono strade che non si scelgono all’improvviso, ma si percorrono piano, spesso guardando qualcuno camminarci davanti a noi.
Per Beatrice quella strada passa tra i pascoli di Tertenia, accanto a suo padre, tra le capre e il silenzio della campagna. È lì che ha imparato cosa significa prendersi cura di un gregge ed è lì che, a un certo punto, ha deciso di restare.
Beatrice è una giovane pastora dell’Ogliastra e oggi porta avanti un mestiere antico, fatto di gesti che si ripetono ogni giorno, di pazienza, responsabilità e rispetto per la sua terra.
Da oggi la sua storia entra in Mannos e con lei arriva una nuova adozione, quella di una capretta sarda che potrete conoscere, chiamare per nome, seguire durante l’anno e, un giorno, raggiungere qui in Sardegna.
Perché a volte adottare significa molto più che ricevere qualcosa. Significa avvicinarsi alla storia di qualcuno, conoscere il suo lavoro e, anche solo per un anno, sentirsi un po’ parte del suo mondo.

Some paths are not chosen all at once. They are followed slowly, often by watching someone walk them before us.
For Beatrice, that path winds through the pastures of Tertenia, alongside her father, surrounded by goats and the silence of the countryside. It was there that she learned what it means to care for a flock, and it was there that, at a certain point, she decided to stay.
Beatrice is a young shepherdess from Ogliastra who is carrying on an ancient way of life, shaped by gestures repeated every day, patience, responsibility and respect for her land.
From today, her story becomes part of Mannos, bringing with it a new adoption: a little Sardinian goat that you can meet, give a name to, follow throughout the year and, one day, visit here in Sardinia.
Because sometimes adoption means much more than simply receiving something. It means becoming part of someone’s story, discovering their work and, even if only for a year, feeling a little closer to their world.

In vigna è iniziato uno dei momenti più belli dell’anno: l’invaiatura. 🍇
Gli acini cambiano colore e, piano piano, si avvicinano alla maturazione.
Antonella osserva la vigna, segue i suoi tempi e si prende cura di ogni filare.
Da qui nasce il vino: dalla terra, dall’attesa e da un lavoro fatto ogni giorno con pazienza.

Ci sono passioni che diventano un mestiere. E mestieri che diventano un modo di vivere. 🐝
Antonella vive nelle campagne di Telti, nel cuore della Gallura, dove ogni giornata segue il ritmo delle stagioni e delle api.
C’è un’immagine che ci ha colpito più di tutte.
Quella di Grazia, sua figlia, con il sorriso sotto il cappello mentre assiste la mamma durante la lavorazione del miele.
Perché le api, in questa famiglia, non rappresentano soltanto un lavoro: sono una passione che si tramanda, un tempo condiviso, un modo di imparare il rispetto per la natura fin da piccoli.
È questo che ci ha fatto desiderare di accogliere Antonella in Mannos.
Non soltanto per il miele che produce, ma per il valore che custodisce ogni giorno: quello di una famiglia che cresce insieme alle proprie api e sceglie di aprire le porte del proprio mondo a chi vuole conoscerlo davvero.

There is one image that stayed with us more than any other: Grazia, her daughter, smiling under her hat as she helps her mother during the honey-making process.
Because for this family, bees are not just work. They are a passion passed down through generations, shared time, and a way to learn respect for nature from an early age.
This is what made us want to welcome Antonella into Mannos.
Not only for the honey she produces, but for the value she preserves every day: that of a family growing alongside its bees, choosing to open the doors of its world to those who truly wish to know it.
