The Swing Freaks

The Swing Freaks is a Swing dance community: classes & events in Trieste! Come and join us for Lindy Hop / Solo Jazz / Balboa / Blues / Shag / Charleston...

We met in April 2014 on the first swing dance workshop in Koper, later we started to meet and dance on our own. At first we practiced each Friday evening in local bars and during the summer on the beach. In the meantime we started going to classes in Ljubljana, festivals at home and abroad, improving and expanding our swing dances. Our love for the swing culture prompted us to share this love with

Quando è che un picnic diventa Freak? ⛱️

Quando si può alternare uno swing out, una chiacchiera con tante belle persone, un pranzo in cui contribuiscono tutti gli avventori, un pisolino al sole per scaldarsi, un tuffo in mare per rinfrescarsi, un prato in cui fare giochi di gruppo e in cui la musica non manca mai! ☀️

When you can switch between a swing out, a chat with lots of wonderful people, a shared lunch where everyone brings something, a nap in the sun to warm up, a dive into the sea to cool off, a big lawn for group games, and music that never stops playing! ☀️

Kdaj piknik postane Freaky? ⛱️

Takrat, ko se prepletajo swing outi, sproščen klepet s krasnimi ljudmi in skupno kosilo, h kateremu prispeva vsak po svojih močeh in takrat, ko si lahko privoščiš dremež na soncu, da se pogreješ in nato skok v morje, da se osvežiš, ter ko nas čaka travnik za razne igre in glasba, ki nikoli ne utihne! ☀️

Čakamo vas od 12. ure naprej na velikem travniku na plaži San Simon v Izoli. Tam bomo, dokler nas bo grelo sonce!

Prinesi hrano, ki jo imaš najraje, če se bomo mastili z dobrotami, bo to tudi tvoja zasluga! 🍉
