Jodi Jones lascia il Notts County

Jodi Jones has completed a permanent transfer to Bromley.

The 28-year-old joins the Ravens for an undisclosed fee, bringing an end to his three-and-a-half years at Meadow Lane.

A joint statement from our owners, Chris and Alex Reedtz, and Director of Football, Richard Montague, reads: “Since arriving initially on loan from Oxford in 2023, Jodi has found a home here at Meadow Lane and given us lots of fond memories – including his play-off goals against Boreham Wood and Salford, as well as his record-breaking 2023-24 campaign.

“With a year left on his contract, we expected him to continue his journey with us this season – however, having taken the club's best interests into consideration following a strong offer from Bromley, we felt now was the right time to part ways.

“He will always be remembered as a key figure in our rise from the National League and we wish him well for the future.”

Il Notts County ha presentato la nuova maglia away per la stagione 2026/27: una divisa rosa che rende omaggio a uno dei legami più unici e duraturi della storia del calcio.

Quando la Juventus nacque, nel 1897, scese in campo proprio con il rosa. Poi, all’inizio del nuovo secolo, la storia cambiò: Tom Savage, businessman di Nottingham che viveva a Torino, contribuì a far arrivare alla Juventus le maglie bianconere del Notts County. Quei colori sarebbero diventati per sempre parte dell’identità juventina.

Oggi il Notts County inverte la storia e torna a indossare quel rosa originale, 125 anni dopo l’arrivo delle maglie da Nottingham a Torino.

E per celebrare questo legame, lo shooting della nuova maglia è stato realizzato proprio a Torino, riportando il Notts County nel luogo in cui questa storia ha preso forma.

Per la prima volta, Juventus e Notts County affronteranno la stagione con la stessa selezione di kit: bianconero per la home, rosa per la away, e una third sui toni scuri del nero e del blu.

Un colore che racconta una leggenda lunga più di un secondo e che oggi torna a unire due club legati da un filo speciale.
