༻The Power Games of Empire Civilizations༺
In trying to understand the power dynamics, endless war, hate, ecological destruction, political polarization, extreme poverty and wealth inequality we see on our planet, I think it's helpful to consider how the last few thousand years represents a kind of "game of thrones" of power elites.
Taking a step back, it starts to become clear that most of humanity's current problem are rooted in neo-feudal colonial style "pyramid" power models run by selfish people that call themselves "civilized" and caring, but are not.
Presently, billionaires (and those who serve them directly) are the new royal class. We saw their power dynamics aired publicly in recent US elections. They make their money from investments in drugs, food, technology, banking, entertainment, weapons sales, pretty much EVERYTHING.
The world's billionaires don't all think the same, and so have generated left/right, liberal/conservative, capitalist/communist, fascist/fabian ideologies, as a way to divide, conquer and confuse the rest of us, so that they (and their friends) can maintain wealth and control.
Russia's Putin, Saudi royals and China's elites are all billionaires, we should not forget that. Global Capitalism is now the dominant economic game they all play.
Communism is more of a propaganda tool right now than a political reality. Some might say the same thing of Democracy.
While on the surface these groups of billionaires and millionaires compete with each other (and seem to be at war) behind the scenes they are unified in the chess-like money games and quest for power they play.
Whether in Russia, France, Israel, Kuwait or the US, each group functions like a rival sports team, using politicians, government, the military, media and education systems to manufacture propaganda that makes their leaders look "good" and other billionaires (as well as any groups of people that oppose them) "evil."
In the US, my view is that there are presently two "billionaire teams" battling for power and spreading propaganda through mainstream media to maintain supporters.
Those who were drawn to Kamala Harris tend to absorb media that points out the Fascist (and sometimes racist) thinking of Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
Those who supported Trump are more aware of the Fabian ideas expressed by George Soros and Bill Gates, that influence the Democratic party. If you don't know what these ideas are, you can ask ChatGPT or Google it.
༻The Battle of the Billionaires: Competing Elite Visions༺
The Fabian-Liberal Vision:
This vision, often associated with Democrats and "progressive" Republicans in the US, groups like the IMF, World Economic Forum (WEF) and the architects of the "Great Reset," promotes global governance, technocracy, and the unification of systems under the guise of addressing global crises like climate change and inequality. While this vision appears liberal and progressive, its centralized approach risks creating a world where power remains in the hands of global elites, underpinned by a surveillance state and corporately controlled markets.
The Autocratic-Oligarchic Vision:
On the other side are figures like Trump, Putin, and their allies (e.g., Elon Musk, who blends libertarian ideas with tech-driven aspirations). This vision critiques globalization and champions national sovereignty, free markets, and individual autonomy—but largely for the benefit of a narrow elite class. While opposing centralized global control, this vision can also exacerbate inequality, environmental exploitation, and authoritarian governance.
In truth, these two groups are rival faces of global capitalism (and corporate neoliberalism) managed and owned by the 2,500+ billionaires on our planet (along with 1% of "ultra high" millionaires) who together maintain control over 69% of the wealth and resources of humanity.
From a historical perspective, Modern Globalization is a continuation of Empire Colonialism, responsible for building the world's factories, polluting the air and rivers, centralizing power, destroying traditional and indigenous cultures, enslaving other species and using fellow humans as "cheap labor" to mass produce products for global consumption.
Each side masks their darker projects (like the 4th Industrial Revolution ideas supported by some Fabian-Liberals) and the misery caused by their investments, while promoting what makes them look good.
It really is a kind of "Game of Thrones" yes? With a new royal class, playing a game of "pyramid power" that goes back thousands of years, to the dawn of feudal empires and so called "civilization."
And the first step to ending this game (in my opinion) is to bring it into mainstream awareness. Practice critical and creative systems thinking, be willing to question what schools, politicians and the media have told you.
Support local communities, local businesses, local education, food production and economics. See the predatory and parasitic nature of our global top-down economic pyramid model for what it is, that's the only way.
Discuss, investigate and re-learn. Keep your heart and mind open. Try not to hate others who think differently. Become aware and help make others aware.
