✨ Coldplay fez história ao dividir o palco com Barry Gibb, dos Bee Gees, no Glastonbury Festival de 2016. Il gruppo direttivo di Yarnbombing Giudecca è stato invitato dall'Associazione Casa Famiglia a festeggiare con loro il 20 anniversario della fondazione. Per l'occasione abbiamo donato un bellissimo mazzo delle nostre rose. Ringraziamo le nostre Api operose che nonostante il breve preavviso nel giro di pochi giorni hanno reso possibile questa creazione.

Patti Smith Quartet perform ‘Because the Night’ live at Zitadelle, Berlin, July 11, 2025. A second song from two nights ago for you. Because the Night is a song we all know so well as one of Patti Smith’s biggest hits, but it’s also a very meaningful one for her because of its connection to her husband Fred “Sonic” Smith. The lines “Have I doubt when I’m alone? Love is a ring, the telephone” directly relates to the nights she would spend waiting up for a phone call while Fred was away on tour. Quotes from Patti in Before Easter After in 2023 - “When on long stretches on the tour bus, I sometimes asked the driver to stop at a diner or a gas station or just on the side of the road so I could call Fred from a phone booth. It was our lifeline, at a time when long distance calls were few and very expensive. Back home in New York, waiting for Fred to call was the other half of the equation. The lines in the verses of “Because the Night” reflect the deep longing to get a call and hear the voice of someone loved from so far away.” As the rain came lashing down in Berlin, we all sang the lyrics with her as she motioned to us like a conductor. Her band, including long term collaborator @tony.shanahan.33 on piano, bass, and backing vocals, her son Jackson Smith on guitar, and @sebrochford on drums, were all fantastic. Seeing Jackson on guitar felt especially poignant given the connection between this song and his father, Fred. As someone who’s also lost a dad. It must feel so special for him to stand beside Patti in his place. And no doubt Fred will be looking on proud of his family. The full setlist was as follows - 1. Redondo Beach 2.
